Slayer, man. I'm no metalhead but this shit tears like a hardcore album. Wonder what BPM these songs have. I've been listening to this album for a while now, anyone else think it's as great as I do?

This is one of the greatest metal albums.
YEA^^
first Slayer album i heard...immediately fuckin loved it/them...shit is soooo dope....and that fact that PE sampled Angel of Death is even more awesome../.
This album is so dope but my favorite will always be South of Heaven. That shit right there was fuckin brutal. Reign pulls a close second.
SOH, really? that one wasnt as heavy for me, or good....but i liked Seasons in the abyss though..
south of heaven is sick "daughters and their promiscues fatherz"......i forgot the lyrics its been awhile.
i luv how reign in blood was on GTA vice city...hahahaha...shit is so corrupt
angel of death is so sick....im reppin 9th warrior again just cuz he's so young and off the hook with his tastes in music
im nominating 9th warrior for an award his punk rock thread is pure gold:clap:
Great thrash metal album, one of the precursors to death metal.
If you like that shit, you should check out these albums:

Oh yeah, these Slayer releases are just as great as Reign:

yea Hell Awaits is good.
Haunting the Chapel is the EP they released right before that, but it's essential because it's where they actually crafted the real Slayer sound. Show No Mercy was more like Iron Maiden/Venom worship.
Plus, it has motherfucking "Chemical Warfare" on it.
Personally, I think that Kreator album I listed slays (no pun intended) everything Slayer did, though, although maybe it ties with Reign in Blood since few (thrash/speed metal) albums flow so smoothly
