... as whiter than black in a musem exhibit co-sponsored by National Geographic, despite research done and drawings depecting him as black.
Re: King Tut was black but will be shown...
peace.
Don't be surprised by the fictional portrayal. They've done that with alot of historic and well-known individuals (i.e. Jesus, Siddartha, etc). Anyways.., it's a damn shame just because there is alot of substantial evidence laying around to know what is actual fact. Why do you think the nose and lips are missing from the Sphinx....and the gazillions of large to even small statues, sculptures..and other artifacts...are missing the same physical features?
peace..

not necessarily..
if u go look at egypt.. you will see many skin colours lol
this is so stupid i dont feel like saying much on that..
as for the problem as to why many historic figures are portrayed as white..
its a shame and a scam which tries to fool people... there is a deep issue with this as it is wrong to falsely educate people..
i mean seriously with Jesus.. blue eys blonde hair..white skin
give me a break
Re: King Tut was black but will be shown...
stupid people.........man race bigots would argue wether to consider a dalmatian black or white..........man they'd argue over the color of dog shit...it's fuckin sickenin.......i'm gettin tired of this race shit.....from every race........people need to keep they mouths shut....
i hope half the world turns into zombies..that way people will care more about you being human than what color you are:lmao:
Re: King Tut was black but will be shown...
Peace, indeed the earlier Pharoahs were more 'black' than light skinned, but we are talkin thousands of years of Pharaonic rule therefore the Nubians and Egyptians mixed not only with themselves but Syrians/Greeks/Arabs etc. therefore many of the later Pharoahs were more light skinned. I agree though they dont want to portray a black man in high status and Sphinx is a good example.....The Sphinx is as early as you will get Original Pharoah and he obviously looks Black.
Also in terms of Egyptians....the Coptic Egyptians are seen as the direct descendant of the Pharoahs and they range from light/brown skin to very dark, but they dont look black as most people percieve black....that wud be the Nubs....Peace

Re: King Tut was black but will be shown...
whatever. none of us benefit no matter what skin tone he had, he could have been green, what's the fucking difference, fucking pride mongers are all the fucking same, go deep throat a popsicle
Re: King Tut was black but will be shown...
peace.
I don't see anyone crying about anything. I strongly believe heads just can't get past the fact...it's just a topic....and discussion. That's it...nothing more, nothing less. These type of topics...and similar ones...will always be discussed..because this deals with miseducation....and alot of fallacy. Some people happen to be pro-truth regardless of this social construct called race. And being an advocate of truth....or accuracy...why not build to eliminate the lies? Education and miseducation are more powerful than alot of people believe..., look at the world's chaos.
Anyways, peace.

Re: King Tut was black but will be shown...
of course like blacks can't look white or blue black, i mean liz taylor tried and all with trying to show how the 'gyptians were white but if thats the case napolean wouldn't have blown the nose of sphinx and herodotus the so-called father of history by greeks says the people of egypt are not like the greeks or romans and thats much later but in same time frame as 'stolen legacy' a book to boot 'bout how the greeks went to kemet bearing gifts to be come inducted in the 'mystry cults' that were prevalent only to go back and become philosophers and/or mathematicans, the great pyramid equations to the earth and sky yet pythagorean comes up with triangles , i started to ramble a bit so a question before jetting? did xeno's paradox about the race b/t hare and turtle have any thing to do with the soul traveling towards conscience and flesh going after for consciousness?
they turned the cult of isis into the black madonna of the vatican church.

Eusebius* states the Ethiopians to have come and settled in Egypt, in the time of Amenophis. According to this account, as well as to the account given by Philostratus,** there was no such country as Ethiopia beyond Egypt until this invasion. According to Eusebius these people came from the river Indus, and planted themselves to the south of Egypt, in the country called from them Ethiopia. The circumstances named by Eusebius that they came from the Indus, at all events, implies that they came from the East, and not from the South, and would induce a person to suspect them as having crossed the Red Sea from Arabia; …

Philostratus* says, that the Gymnosophists of Ethiopia, who settle near the sources of the Nile, descended from the Bramins of India, having been driven thence for the murder of their king.** This, Philostratus says, he learnt from an ancient Brahmin, called Jarchas.

Another ancient writer, Eustathius, also states, that the Ethiopians came from India. These concurring accounts can scarcely be doubted; and here may be discovered the mode and time also when great numbers of ancient rites and ceremonies might be imported from India into Egypt; …

Mr. Wilsford, in his treatise on Egypt and the Nile, in the Asiatic Researches, informs us, that many very ancient statues of the God Buddha in India have crisp, curly hair, with flat noses and thick lips; and adds, "nor can it be reasonably doubted, that a race of Negroes formerly had power and pre-eminence in India."
This is confirmed by Mr. Maurice, who says, "The figures in the Hindoo caverns are of a very different character from the present race of Hindoos : their countenances are broad and full, the nose flat, and the lips, particularly the under lip, remarkably thick." …
Justin states, that the Phœnecians being obliged to leave their native country in the East, they settled first near the Assyrian Lake, which is the Persian Gulf; and Maurice says, "We find an extensive district, named Palestine, to the east of the Euphrates and Tigris. The word Palestine seems derived from Pallisthan, the seat of the Pallis or Shepherds." Palli, in India, means Shepherd.
… It is a well-known fact that our Hindoo soldiers when they arrived in Egypt, in the late war, recognized the Gods of their country in the ancient temples, particularly their God Cristna.
The striking similarity, indeed identity, of the style of architecture and the ornaments of the ancient Egyptian and Hindoo temples, Mr. Maurice has proven beyond all doubt. …

The use of the tonsure, by both Indian Buddhists of Tibet, and African Ethiopians, is a striking circumstance; and the prohibition of it, by Moses, as one contrivance to separate his people from their neighbours or ancestors,—as it proves that they once had it, tends to prove the original identity of the three nations. …

Hence it is that Bacchus*** has been represented as the son of the river Indus. Hence arose also the notion that the Indian Dionusos was the most ancient : …" Plutarch**** tells us, that Phylarchus said, that Bacchus first brought the worship of the two Boves called Apis and Osiris, from India into Egypt. … I entertain a strong suspicion that these Boves were the horned male and female Osiris and Isis, for Apis was nothing but another name for Osiris.

The ancients constantly called the country above the Egyptian cataracts India, and its inhabitants Indians. This is strikingly confirmatory of my hypothesis, that they came from India.* No one can suppose the Greek authors, from whom we have this account, to have made a mistake, and to have believed the country South of Thebes, was the country East of the Euphrates. It therefore follows that they must have been called Indians because they were known or believed to have come from India. …
