this is up there on my top 5 WU Albums. i really don't give a shit what anyone else says. this album is untouchable! at a time when i was doubting the WU, they put out 3 albums that floored me; Supreme Clientele, The W and this. they all had a dark vibe to them but managed to keep it moving and didn't bore me. i pretty much like every track on here. everyone makes a big deal about the Japanese version of this soundtrack, but if you have this, you're good to go!
Re: Various-Ghost Dog Soundtrack
Oh shit this album is straight bangin. Zip Code, The Man, Fast Shadow, Stay With ME. oh fuck this album is all that. 9/10. How come on the review you aint got the two bonus tracks that are just instrumentals? Flying Birds and Ninja Step the come on as track 20 and 21
Re: Various-Ghost Dog Soundtrack
Man this album went totally under the radar. This proves that RZA can produce with the best after his Forever days. 9.5/10
Re: Various-Ghost Dog Soundtrack
strange eyes, zip code, walking through the darkness, the man, cakes, stay with me....real good work by rza and wu-fam (sunz of man, tekitha, superb, black knights, etc....)

Co-Sign, One of my personally favorites.
Re: Various-Ghost Dog Soundtrack
its one ill album
very underrated
Re: Various-Ghost Dog Soundtrack
Fast Shadow is one of the illest Wu-songs. Love that beat.
Strange Eyes is also one of my favourites.
Re: Various-Ghost Dog Soundtrack
The film score is even better.

THIS IS DEFINATELY A CLASSIC WU BANGA
MAN 4 FO SHO'
Re: Various-Ghost Dog Soundtrack
strange eyes - 8.5 (hard to go wrong with a good rza beat and sunz of man)
4 sho sho - 8.5 (northstar grows on another good rza beat)
zip code - 6 (this beat too bob digi for me but i can see how someone could like it)
cakes - 8.5 (good old school beat with rza and g rap)
don't test - 1 (as the name suggest; suga bang bang is just plain shit)
walking thru darkness - 2 (not rap. only good to see tekitha get a solo song)
the man - 9 (i would have preferred it to have only Masta kIlla on it, but oh well)
walk the dogs - 7 (royal fam and la are a pleasure to listen to; unimaginative beat)
stay with me - 0 (okay that's enough r&b please!)
east ny stamp - 8.5 (big jeru fan; good to hear him on a classic wu thread)
fast shadow - 10 (classic wu flava. rza at his best)
samurai showdown - 3.5 (wack digi shit for the most part. i like the ghostdog theme laced in the middle)
bottomline: 7
good album. good soundtrack. good for rza. good for wu. good for all these headz that have been on the low for a minute.
