Hey Wu heads, I've been following this jazz singer for a little while now since she became somewhat widely known in jazz circles after winning the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition.

I find her to be a musician singer -- meaning not just someone with the gift of a great voice, but one who uses her vocal gift as an instrument -- like a horn player would use his instrument in a jazz band.

She's just released her second album, For One To Love. Her debut, Woman Child, was great too.
