sure some of you are gonna be snobbish about this list. well do what you gotta do. I'm a fan of these artists' music


while I haven't seen the full artwork and cannot say anything about the wu logo being on it or not, it would be kind of strange anyway if the author were allowed to use the logo since the book discusses Killa Beez, affiliates and 'tribute groups' only, not the Wu themselves


when I get the book I'll post some more info and let you know whether the book is worth your while. pretty sure this is really gonna be one for me though, I think, since I want to find out more about all of these affiliates I've listened to so much over the years


the author worked on this book for close to 7 years, a true labor of love, and he is out to support the movement is all I'm saying


discussing financial gain would be a stretch, there is ZERO money in wu tang in 2017 (or in 2007 for that matter), unless you are one of the generals. so when you write a book about artists who don't make money (they do it for the love of hiphop and the wu sound) and who are not high profile, you are not gonna earn a lot of money as an author


essentially this is a book by a fan who took his time to (I suspect) do his research well

Good post tho. It's a fan book and that's very noticeable but some people might actually want to read it.

Those posts above is the reason I'll skip this one. These dudes shouldn't be anywhere in the book. They should've at least given this to Rza to approve who's in this book. Book looks good too. Damn shame.

Maybe shield enforcers etc will be in the "tribute" section. Back in the day artists/groups like that were considered,"wu-alike"...not fam

Is this just a Wu-Tang phenomemon? I never really noticed it with other artists.

Or is there a whole string of artists trying to be like Kendrick, Gucci Mane or Outkast? Of course there are copycats but to this degree.

it turns out the author actually INTERVIEWED (mostly online of course) a lot of these artists for his book
