from the maker of ex machina which was a brilliant movie
Ex Machina was dope. There was a drought of truly great Sci-Fi for a long time but it seems like over the last 5-10 years we're getting a lot of really intelligent and high quality shit.
Can't wait.
Absolutely agreed
speaking of good sci-fi
going to see blade runner today, can't wait
Ex Machina was thought provoking - and that's how I like sci fi
radio let us know how you felt about Blade Runner 2049
all good movies are thought provoking, regardless of the genre.. if they dont make you think.. its not worth watching..
ie mindless blockbuster shits with a shit ton of special effects.
haven't seen it yet but its done by dude who directed ex machina so i have high hopes
^ Yeah Ex Machina is one of the best of the last few years, hopefully Garland stays on that level. I'll check this out.
It's cool. I think you guys will like it.
Think Prometheus meets Ghostbusters (if it were any good).
It's not your typical cinema flick. That must be why Netflix picked it up.
definitely worth the watch, its weird af in a good way
really good i think.. kinda becomes like the tv series Threshold in the last 30 mins..
Which ghostbusters movie do you mean? The recent one was underrated imo.
Haha I meant chicks on a mission.
The central premise is somewhat similar to 'The Thing' but the love story and exotic visuals set it apart. Natalie Portman deserves a lot of credit for her performance in this, I don't think the film would have come off nearly as well without her. Dope movie.
you be digging those love stories shadynasty, don't you? does natalie have a stupid pixie haircut in this?
this movie sucked for the most part. you need to be on a lot of lsd to find it somewhat enjoyable. it's popular with the hipsters though cause they find it edgy.
