Yeah that seems true. I don't know King Von either outside of a few features. He's probably heard GKMC LP but doesn't remember that song.

I'm the same age as Kendrick and even I don't know those tracks. But I'm stuck in the '90s, so there's that.

Easy E and NWA were good storytellers IMO

I like how he mentioned killah hills 10304. That track doesnt get nearly enough praise. Neither does liquid swords the album. Blows iLLMatic out the water imo
