OH FOR SHAME! shit artists you secretly enjoy

I got tipped off about a pop up shop type thing where an old rocker sold off a tiny part of his collection. It was still a thousand plus cds and several hundred vinyls left when I went in earlier today on the last day of sales

I still managed to score 20 albums although I would have loved to take 60 or so with me. This guy had excellent taste in music.

Funnily his price range was linked to how much he appreciated the music. Metal and punk €3, rock and grunge €2.5 and a BIN OF SHAME with some hip hop, second tier grunge and whathaveyounot for €1

That bin is where I spotted CREED - Greatest Hits.

When I paid for the albums the guy commented on all my purchases discussings some songs etc except for the Creed one. lol

So, Creed.

A friend of mine is really into Nickelback, goes to their concerts too. He's a drummer so there's that.

Listening to post nineties Bon Jovi now, in fact I have been shelling out for some of their releases recently.

I'll show myself out lol.

I can't think of anything I feel shame about listening to, this made me think of starting a pop thread though.

Maybe something like My Way by Limp Bizkit. They are genuinely fucking trash but that song is super catchy, and at the same time I think I couldn't defend it if somebody trashes it.

Limp Bizkit has just had to cancel a tour on doctor's orders because Fred Durst didn't pass his medical check up. The band are pretty hush hush about it. Just read about it in the newspaper.

I give the Limpies a pass for calling their last album 'Still Suck'.

I have the Hot Dog Flavored Water album or whatever it's called with the Rollin hip hop remixes

This track is catchy. Hate on me.

New radicals. Some of savage garden singles on the radio were alright.

I don't think the New Radicals are anything to be ashamed of. Thier one and only album holds up well.
