Wu-Tang Forever Coin

Came across this Wu-Tang Forever CD bundled with a Wu-Tang coin. The coin seems to have been made in a limited edition of a 1,000, and would be randomly distributed in the albums. Now this is a European version of the album, so I don't know if this was only the case for Europe, or also in the US.

Basically, this is sort of a barebones analogue version of a NFT. But without the blockchain contract registration, or the royalties.

I remember this! This is my first time actually seeing one. I thought it was a cool idea.

Now I'm wondering, and I think an earlier version of my post included this, was there anything connected to the coins? Like prizes, events, et cetera.
