What do you know about Finland

I'm interested what foreing people think about Finland. So i want to hear it from all of you.

i don't know anything about finland!

There are more cups of coffee drank per head in Finland than in anywhere else in the world.

What do I KNOW or what do I THINK?

I know that it is a bilingual coutry because of its early history with the Swedish empire, there is a big logging industry. There is a big social class split in the city of Helsinki, a rich north and a poor south. In the winter there is only like 2-4 hours of sunlight per day because of its latitude. Oh yeah I hear you can see the city in Estonia across the river in Helsinki (forgot the name). I know this stuff because I have taken geography courses in university.

What I think? That is hard to determine, because of the population size relative to some countries in Europe, it is hard for that country to get international recognition. Some of the girls are hot from there.

Finland does not have hot girls, at least not compared to the rest of the nordic countries.
I think of Finland as boredom. Though they were way better than us playing basketball.

I know one guy who lives in Jakobstad, he speaks Swedish and thinks you Finnish speaking fucks have a stupid language. He says it's been winter for like 6 months now, and it sucks. Your country is also filled with a load of fucking holes full of water.

You did a pretty good job of kicking Russia's ass during the winter war, these saves your country from being shite. You make Nokia phones and that's about it. Finnish films are crap. but Finnish hip-hop is nice. I know lots. You like to use a lot of double letters in your language, and with the dots. Kääläpuulaanainen. See, I just made that word up, but it instantly looks Finnish.

Well i know quite a lot about Finland because i'm Estonian. (Estonia is located south of Finland)
And these 2 countrys are very similar to eachother. (same anthem n shit)

But imo, Estonian language sounds better and girls are way more prettier. :D

land of thousand lakes, good hockey players, sauna freaks, used to be a part of Soviet Union, finnish and hungarian languages have ugrofin roots and it is one of the hardest languages to learn, with 11 grammatical cases.

No, it's really easy, I learnt it in 3 days.

and that word "kääläpuulaanainen" means nothing, but ...nainen means woman. Have none of you heard about "mämmi"?

I've been to Kuopio on my winter vacation few years ago, it was a lot of fun..

And when asked what do you think about Finland, the first thing to come in your mind should be VODKA.
