US was always propagated like the land of freedom and opportunities. Prosperous people live there their american dream. And there was always some evil country that was trying to destroy american way of life coz they cant stand amount of freedom and prosper in the US.
Now, how the fuck US have more people locked up then communist China? More then Russia?
Considering population number in each country and political system this is just absurd.

yea and im suuuuuure china and russia keep real great statistics on their prisons.

you think you can watch tv in a chinese or russian prison?

you think they even bother giving you legit trials and appeals and shit over there? half the time they just probably take you out back and shoot you like a dog.

Russia and China execute most of their prisoners. I highly doubt Moscow has a clue what goes down in the far east of the country.

For China, a communist nation is basically one big prison anyway, jus ask someone from Tibet or East Turkistan.

Because the United States offers people so much personal freedom and is a society based on individualism, people are more likely to deviate.

If you give an inch, people will take a mile.

People commit more crimes in the US.

Imagine what would happen if people got caught committing the same crime in the US, Russia, and China.

Who would be the most lenient?

you remember that recent incident about the bad baby milk formula that came from china? some came to the US, some babies got sick and died and what not. the perpetrators added something they shouldnt have to increase the protein content so they could sell it for more money. but they did it knowing what they were adding wasnt safe.

guess what china did to them?

executed them.

The chinese execute about a 1000 people a year the USA around 50 or so I believe. So it cant be said that China would have more prisoners if they didnt execute so many people. The USA would have about the same number of prisoners as China if it wernt for the "war on drugs" which has doubled our prison population in the last 30 years. And made prisons are a billion dollar industry.

the Us gov has to keep a certain amount of ppl in prison so that the unemployment rate won't look bonkers, our population is too big to have a reasonable unemployment rate if there's a reasonable amount of prisoners.

most all other laws, people deserve to be behind bars for breaking. and this country does a pretty good job of getting those fuckers behind bars.

but dont bullshit where this country purposely puts people behind bars. yea they may put some people there that are actually good people and can do other things, but they still clearly disobey the law, a law that can clearly land them in jail.

well if everyone had skills in the us, like everyone, with educations and shit, there wouldn't be enough jobs to go around.

the unemployment would be 3rd world looking if we didn't manipulate the definition of unemployed and used statistic and population redistribution methods like jail.

welfare is also a way used to keep jobs open, as well as public housing and sometimes war.

with out all that, even if, and expecially if, everyone was a skilled worker we would collapse.


sure they should be punished, i'm not saying they're innocent, im just telling you that a long time ago the gov found the advantage to locking ppl up and has kept it real ever since.
