seriously, you dont know shit. its not like im a jayz stan, but i can recognise he IS the God M.C, and is one of the greatest to ever do it. hes one of the only MCs who can still truly rip a mic.

so al im saying is if you hate on jay z, or think hes wack or whatever, you got serious fucking issues with yourself. idk if its becaus you were bullied mercilessy at school and have a big problem with popularity or whatever, but fucking man up, stop lyin to yourself.


so in this thread, if your NOT a fan of jay z, please list your favorite rappers.

then we'll break down what the real reason is you dont like Jay. because ive seen homos in here talk about all their favorite rappers (the usual mediocre east coast punchline rappers) and they dont even realise the people they do like, are just JayZ clones

Bp3 wasn't great it had dope songs but wasn't nearly dope as Bp1

Bp2 was aight but overbloated like most double albums disc 2 was the hottest part of that album

In my lifetime vol. 1 is jay-z's best lp along with reasonable doubt

there's more than enough entertaining rap shit being made to hold my interest, OJ da juiceman makes a new mixtape like every 2 and a half hours, why would I listen to jay-z?

Reasonable Doubt is an all-time classic, damn near every track is 5/5, BP1 was definitely above average, but nothing else he ever did really impressed me. He's got unparalleled flow and great voice/delivery on the mic, but outside of RD there was never a time i was looking forward to getting home to listen to.

i enjoy listening to One.Be.Lo more than Jay... on average.. but all time im not sure One made a contribution to hip-hop like Jigga did with RD..

but then again, there hasn't been any decent contributions to real hip-hop in the last decade so how could any of it compare to RD? I don't think theres any emcee to "come out" in the last decade to be on Jiggas level as an MC, but thats really not saying shit.

i can be critical of jay, hes got his short comings, but at the end of the day his talent outshines all that!!!!!

he lifts lines, he lifts ideas, and hes still respected by just about every lyricist that ever mattered!!!!!!!!
