Fishscale gets to much shine in my opinion

I know I will get shit for this but this is my view 2 1/2 years later


-good strong album

-Ghost especially strong lyrically on this

-rae best in years

-Has Classic tracks - Kilo
- 9 Milli Bros
- R.A.G.U.
- Whip you etc
- Back like that
- Be easy
- Clipse or doom
- Underwater
Too name a few.




Dissappointments
- Alot of poor tunes
- Poor vocals from other guests
- Too many annoying not conneceted skits

This album is good but no Classic.

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2, now thats a new classic every track quality

As much as I like OB4CL2 now, I think we should give it another couple years to see how it stands then. It's still too early to be calling OB4CL2 a definite classic.

Beatswise imo i dont rate the album really. Then again i havent given it a focused listen.

I just prefer GFK spazzing on more hard beats like those on Ironman and Supreme Clientele

everytime i hear 9 milli bros, I think about when/what Ghost-Doom album can be

the skits actually work well on Fishscale. they build an atmosphere

both are great albums...but i'm not really sure about cl2 being already a classic...too much filler-trax IMO (on both albums)

fishcale>obfcl2 fuck wat u heard. only track i can't bare on obfcl2 is "cold outside" wtf is that song doin tere. if it wasn't for fishcale. pete rock and j dilla would have not been on the sequel.

Fishscale is front loaded for sure, but the classic tracks are SO GOOD that it still makes it a classic album to me. Yeah, you could have cut a couple tracks like Jellyfish or Big Girl, but the album paints a very wide picture and the long running time is a major part of that. Its like a summary of everything Ghost has done up that point. The crack slinging, the betrayed lover, the soft pimp, the king pin, the supreme free-verse, and it even has the best club track Ghost has ever done (Be Easy).

Classic album imo.
