If a Monster Hunter title is released on the PS4, I'll purchase the console. GTV, Battlefield, and Watch Dogs look great. I'll consider it.
Mine will be arriving on 20-25(Amazon) with Killzone, also will be getting ACIV and MGSV. Since this will last me for few moths, I'll be getting BF4 when they do a Premium Edition.

I think that this will be a good investment. I'm curious to know if there'll be a price deduction on Black Friday.

Mine will be arriving next week. Im kind of disappointed on how this next-gens are turning out to be. Many of the things that should be standard by now were either taken out or fixed through a patch. Other things that should be on the console day 1 they promised to add it in the future, if they don't forget. Im still wondering if they will ever allow us to connect external Hard Drive, transfer MP3's, Photos and do a back-up.

Dont buy for a few months ...never buy launch systems anyway. some are saying about 80% of the ps4's will arrive not working.....we will see tomorrow .

I've had no issues either. Loving the system, the joint is pretty slick.
Now I'm terrified, my order is from Amazon. But from what I've heard the broke, dean on arrival PS4's are minimal compared to the amount they sold.
looks like maybe about half are lucky and half are DOA ...some are reporting that The good PS$'s are dying later on ...all of IGNS ps4 died after working...The one one Jimmy Fallen also stopped working...
Whats going on .... is it a heat issue? faulty parts? Software?
looks bad for sony ...maybe they were in the rush to beat xbox on a release and ended up doing what xbox did last release rushed the release to beat the others but didnt cross the T's and dot the I's and ended with faulty systems.
just like Xbox 360 you should wait after the first or 2nd round of systems and not be a beta tester
why do people buy consoles? why not just build a gaming pc?
Because PC, the consoles and everything else has its pros and cons. For example: some people don't have the knowledge to built one, some people don't like the fucking hassle that goes with installing new games, some don' like dealing with all the errors that can occur, many of the console games don't get ported to PC, or they take a year to do so and etc...Quote:

That really sucks that Im hearing all these issues with the PS4 already but I am not surprised. 1 of many reasons why I waited until the fall of 2011 to get my PS3 slim. Im not even considering getting a PS4 until maybe the beginning of 2015. By then the bugs should be dealt with & there will be more games for the console library.
Is this thing too heavy for one person to lift? How much does it weigh compared to the PS3?

Got my console, did the update and it all went with no problems. Though got scared for a second while playing Killzone, the game just stopped with an error on screen and it when back to the PS4 menu. This was probably because I started the game while installing, but not sure.
The Killzone campaign is incredible, the amount of detail is pretty astonishing, the game is awesome. As for the console it self it feels like you can't do shit, it's like they decided to do a reset and start from zero again. But being abel to watch other players stream is the best addition thus far.
Still playing every night without issues
My biggest beef is how we cant customize the theme/background. that blue screen is plain as fuck. They should be releasing support for it in a patch soon though like they did with the ps3
