a british show i caught on netflix, really really fucked up bizaare show,just how i love em, well directed and written too, its a modern twilight zone meets xfiles with a blend of stephen king/aja alexandre madness to it, it touches mainly on the dismal reprocussions of technological misuse emphasizing on human emotion and rationality on the edge and toys with human desperation fueled by the grasp of technology,its a really dope show,i highly recommend it

Pretty good show, a couple of great episodes, others not as good. White Bear is probably my favorite so far. Really fucked up episode, which in the end makes you decide the morality of it for yourself.. I've noticed quite a few ppl over at imdb thinks very different from me.
The National Anthem was also all sorts of fucked up. lmao

British tv >>>>>> but seriously that episode with the prime minister fucking the pig fucked me up for a while. I'm a fan of extreme cinema as well, Martyrs, Men Behind The Sun, Guinea Pig series etc but that fucking messed me up for a few days and I don't know why
it was fucked up tho,because it could actually happen in a realistic setting,also the political episode with that cartoon, that was fucking crazy as well

The episode I loved was the one with Brendan Gleesons son, where the female protagonist got a bionic version of her dead husband. That shit worked on so many levels along with been an ingenious concept. Must rewatch the whole thing
Way too depressing of a show.......I guess that's why it's called what it is......the Pig/Prime Minister episode was ridiculous......Robert Downey Jr said he was interested in making a movie out of the episode where your memories are recorded with play-back regarding the lawyer & cheating wife, but nothing has happened yet....
Overall, not really my thing but I've seen all of the episodes.....the other one where the convict keeps forgetting who/where she is whilst people are hunting her and others just record the whole ordeal withtheir phone was also twisted.......just an endless loop
Yeah, I got round to watching them. Thought it was pretty hit or miss, some episodes definitely better than others. Would probably check out another series if they make one, especially if it's just a short season

i remember discussing the 1st and second seasons of this with the god CJ whisty... he put me onto the occult meaning of black mirror...
the re runs give you giggles, but anybody watching them for the first time would feel a bit akward to say the least.... i think the next black mirror wont be until towards the end of year (or maybe they will do a proper series instead of one huge episode)

We watched the episode where the British PM is forced to fuck a pig, in class. It had gotten out of hand somewhat. See, we were supposed to watch the first episode of a German show or the first half of a German movie right before the Easter holiday but then when the time came they wanted to see a stand alone within the 50 minute time frame. I caved in and on Netflix the kids landed on 'BM' since they are all stand alone eps. They selected the shortest episode, which was the very first one (SA, E1). When we were watching it (in English, in German class) I was like 'this is awesome, but we totally can't be watching this' lol.
i still maintain. this show was way better when it was strictly curated by the british creators. the hollywood influence kinda cheapened it. and nothing's worse than netflix's filthy hands on any good IP
I watched the first 5 or 6 episodes which I think were all the British ones and haven't gone across to the Netflix era, the pig fucking episode was great as was that one where they ride the exercise bikes for credits but the memory one is my favourite so far. This series just makes me want to go on a massive Twilight Zone binge there needs to be more shows like this.
Charlie Brooker is still showrunner and writes all the episodes so if you don't like it now blame him. Personally I don't think theres a noticeable dropoff in quality.
One of the best early episodes to me is 'Be Right Back'. 'White Xmas' is great too.
Season 3 was really good, and the Striking Vipers episode that everybody hated. Even the weaker eps are interesting though.
Ok this season has the first season feel i love so much, i don’t know but there’s something about tech gone amiss in what’s like a boring British Outland that adds the dread effect for me . I think my Hangup is the whole big city modern age vibe . It kinda makes the themes redundant . Really enjoying this season .
