Not sure if anyone recorded but reading the comments it sounds like he played the whole album.
Of course he ripped it.
Well...I guess this is no longer a single copy album
Ain’t Shrekie in jail still?
He’s been out for a bit.. white collar crimes man
Oh word
He got out 2 years ago. He was sentenced to 7 years back in 2018.
My question would be, if he broke the contract he had about this album with playing it on X, or not. The question that being: Could he be sued for this?Quote:
His early release—slightly more than four years after his sentencing—reflects time shaved off for good behavior in prison, plus completion of education and rehabilitation programs, according to CNBC. It also includes a credit for the roughly six months he spent in jail prior to his sentencing.
I think that only applies if he was still in possession of the album.
He's being sued.

Fantastic
Not sure. On X maybe? Sound quality not great from what I've read. He's had some super villain type posts on X after being served. Weird twist in all this. I'd just like to hear the album at this point.
There were some rips of individual songs on reddit. All the links are dead now, but what I heard was terrible audio quality so avoided the rest.
Really hope we can hear this in HQ soon, cause the snippets were banging.
Hahahaha Shkreli getting sued and having a twitter meltdown just adds to to the cake. He does play his supervillain role to a tee.
Nah. Before he was being sued, I was already thinking that this would have been a gaping hole in any contract. When you are the owner, and resell, but keep a copy, and leak said copy, or try to benefit from it, or sabotage steps by current owner. That should be in there.

NEW YORK, June 11 (Reuters) - Martin Shkreli has been sued in New York by a digital art collective that said it paid $4.75 million for a one-of-a-kind album by the hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan, only to learn that the convicted pharmaceutical executive made copies and is releasing the music to the public.
Shkreli paid $2 million in 2015 for "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin," and gave it up to partially satisfy a $7.4 million forfeiture order after his 2017 conviction for defrauding hedge fund investors and scheming to defraud investors in a drugmaker.
The plaintiff PleasrDAO said Shkreli has, since his May 2022 release from prison, told fans on live streams and social media platform X that he kept and had shared the album, once saying, "I was playing it on YouTube the other night even though somebody paid $4 million for it."
PleasrDAO also said thousands of people tuned in on Sunday to hear the album on a live stream that Shkreli called a "Wu tang official listening party."
Such activity violates the forfeiture order, amounts to misappropriation of trade secrets, and "greatly diminishes and/or destroys the album's value," according to the complaint filed Monday night in Brooklyn federal court.
PleasrDAO wants Shkreli to destroy his copies, turn over profits from disseminating the music, and pay compensatory and punitive damages.
Lawyers who have represented Shkreli in criminal and civil matters declined to comment or did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The plaintiff is displaying, opens new tab "Shaolin" this month at the Museum of Old and New Art in Hobart, Tasmania.
Shkreli, 41, became notorious and gained the nickname "Pharma Bro" when, as chief executive of Turing Pharmaceuticals in 2015, he raised the price of the life-saving antiparasitic drug Daraprim overnight to $750 per tablet from $17.50.
He was released early from his seven-year prison sentence, but remains on supervised release.
Shkreli was banned in January 2022 from the pharmaceutical industry and ordered to repay $64.6 million for antitrust violations related to Daraprim. A federal appeals court upheld the ban and payout in January.
The case is PleasrDAO v. Shkreli, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York, No. 24-04126.

This whole thing is the never ending story its insane.
who wants to pay me to run up in skrelis house like bill murray?
I wonder if you can not get sued, if you leak it. Bit rusty on the specifics of the contract was discussed in Cyrus' book. In any case, I would greatly advice against listening any of the snippets if they are of poor quadio quality. This will certainly diminish your own experience, however much you want to listen to it. Because if there is one thing I have learned bad speakers kill good music, and so do poor recordings.
Do you know where he lives?? Do it!! 😁
I always wondered if Cilvaringz kept a copy for himself.
Just had to head over to Twitter...pretty wild lol
I have the intro in the dope quality and I have the track Sorrow in worse quality
I'll leave this here

Wooo the Rebel came correct. I'll probably never hear this in full and good quality but that was nice to get a little taste.
It's funny the coverage on the whole museum release didn't get much reporting. I had to search and only because I'm a fan I noticed it. But now that Shkreli is involved it's starting to get a lot of mainstream attention.
I wonder what U-God thinks of this situation. Can you ask him Cilva? Tell him the forum is curious.
That’s a dope track. The beat at the end of the track is awesome. Too bad nobody jumped on it.
And someone posted the intro in HQ. There is a possibility for the album to leak in the future. Especially since the new owner sued Shkreli.
No I don't think we'll ever hear it.
Not sure the demand is there anymore. Just look in this forum dedicated to Wu, not much traffic or interest. Maybe this is the album that killed Wu. There was lots bad feelings on how it all played out.
Link for Rainy Dayz II is officially down. The powers that be want to control what we hear I guess.
Patience is a virtue my fellow Corp brothers. Don’t ask me how much patience, but it’s still a virtue.
Ringz, what year was OG “It’s Coming” thread? 2013? Peace
As curious as I am, I want to prevent myself from hearing any further low quality leaks. The day will come, I believe.
Until I can sit in a room with my best headphones, and zone out to this album in full. A tantalizing taste thus far but that's it for me! Fantastic work on the 5 snippets that I've heard Ringz.
Oh geez Osborne that seems like an eternity ago!! Back then we also had that crazy good thread about the top 100 tracks from the Family Guy avatar dude, we had Claaaaa7 dropping mixtapes, review section was jumping....those were the days!
“Our master plan is to release the music to the public in a way that honors the Wu-Tang Clan and gets them paid while circumventing the streaming oligopoly; every action we are taking is in service of that mission.”

I’ve always said I just wanna be able to buy this in a bundle from Get On Down Site. Dope CD booklet, t shirt and some stickers. Hahhahaha haha. Take my 100 bucks. Peace
No telling how many copies he has made since he had it in his possession. He could easily e mail blast it out to all d.j.'s and digital service providers and ruin this entire run
All thanks to MARTIN we getting a chance to hear some of it in the end we re gonna appreciate the villain
