Maybe I wouldn't be as angry if I saw that Yakub/devil/failed experiment shit as something with some empiric or rational ground. With some REAL facts in the bottom or philosophical stance or something like that. I could admire Descartes for proving that God is, because he showed with simple syllogism that it is so.

But it seems to me that the whole stuff is just another Catholic-styled dogma that can't be questioned. It is that way and period.
