Batman 3 = "The Dark Knight Rises"

All of the actors did their job through the entire trilogy.

To me these are the best performance of each movie:
Batman Begins - Cillian Murphy, Christian Bale and Liam Neeson
The Dark Knight - Heath Ladger, Aaron Eckhart
Dark Knight Rises - Michael Cain > Im calling it now this guy deserves an Oscar for his display of acting skills on this movie. The scene at the cemetery was amazing.

Of course Oldman was very consistent on all films. What I don't like is some people acting as if Bale didn't do a great job as Bruce/Batman just because he was outshine by the villains. He was outshine indeed, but that doesn't change the fact that he did his job.

I didn't think of Blake as Robin. Through the film, I always thought of him as the next Batman. Only when they mentioned that his name was Robin, I thought of him as Nightwing, because the persona of Nightwing isn't a sidekick like Robin is.

just a whole lotta batman mythos put into a pot and stirred up. 100% nolan though.

thats the coolest thing about batman, you can give that character to many different writers and get so many different kinds of stories.


this movie was way more adult than i thought it was going to be.

and thats the best live action catwoman on screen so far. honey dip was the best character by far.

GOD ALMIGHTY how many patriotism and plot holes can one fit in a GREAT MOVIE

there is a lot of things I love in this movie, I'd like more movies like this in the cinema, but Nolan isn't Kubrick or old Ridley Scott

the ending is a bit lame, the fight between policemen and those Bane dudes was EXTRA lame, lol, they were shooting at eachother for 10 seconds without being in cover, and then they fight fist to fist. REALLY, Nolan? Really? You are making an action thriler, and the thriler part of the movie is great, the action is a lot worse than Dark Knight's [remember the big truck scene?]

Nolan is a weird guy. He has balls to try and make a dark, serious blockbuster, but on the other hand, some things are made purely for the reason of appeasing to the average american. I never bought the Talia plottwist, that was just thrown in there for the fuck of it. So Bane is just her puppy who doesn't even want a revolution, but just revenge. Sounds a bit like American foreign policy, haha

WOW, saw it in IMAX yesterday - overwhelming experience.
Bout to see it 2, 3 more times.
It's everything i hoped it would be, great way to end the series.
Can't wait 4 the home release.

Mind you this was PG13 still, by going all out for a R rating he would of alienated many ticket sales

thank god Godfather wasn't PG13.

it's a shame when a movie tries to be realistic, but everyone can see the illusion. that's why I can't say this is the best movie this year.

actually dr nick makes good points and i didnt really think about bane being a puppet until he said it. and its a bit annoying cuz in the comics hes kinda like batman. hes a man with lots of ambition and uses it to become this supreme being so its a bit annoying hes talias bitch.

It's obviously far from perfect, but it does the previous 2 justice imo. Nobody sane will call it movie of the year and the 5/5 reviews were over exaggeration to say the least, but it's a great piece of cinema and left me satisfied. Bout to go in the 2nd time today*D.

yea, Talia Ra's Al Ghul was in Batman the Animated Series

but the plot twist that includes her, is just so boring, that it would be better if this character wasn't in the movie to begin with. I wanted to see the last epic fight between Bane and Bats, but I only got a lame twist (+ a beautiful performance by Tom Hardy)

if you love the ras al ghul archs from the books youre not tripping about the talia switch... thats straight out the books....

scraps with bane were legendary... catwoman was the wild card.. nolan nailed it...

this one felt the most like a BATMAN story to me out the 3... everything was big... the mythos were already in place... no retellings...

I have seen this movie three times. It never gets old. I love Bane's speech in front of the prison. Truth!

I love the part where he picks up Batman by the neck and says "And we're initiated" "And you betrayed us" he sounded so menacing on that part.

I liked The Avengers more but I've read alot of comments that say it gets better each time you watch it so maybe it'll be like that for me 2.
I wont see it in theatres anymore tho so I'll wait untill it comes out on B-Ray to see if this rings true for me.

Saw it for the 2nd time yesterday - confirm - it gets better with each watch. 3d x next week. Spotted also a couple of continuity mistakes, but they don't have no negative impact on the story or experience.

The story was incredible, the sequencing was perfect, no human should be able to walk out of that movie and say they watched an inferior work of art. Wtf story do you know that was told better in a cinematic context? Bambi nigga? If anyone walked out of that movie and felt they watched something inferior there's something wrong with them not the movie. I can't name a better film and in due time (8 years) when it's safe for white people to say they like it they'll be obsessed and talking about the inferiority about whatever that time's masterpiece is in comparison.

This movie was predictable.

Long and arduous.

Yes it's predictable...that's why you have to make the journey to her revenge compelling...wich was the case.
TDKR felt jumbled at times and like Pai Mei said: it was just too long...I can handle long movies but when I keep staring at my watch to see how long the movie has been going on, I know something is wrong...to me that is.

with a film like this, if i get into it, my mind fills in the gaps. like hes using a cane with a fucked up leg. hes a billionaire i figure he had crazy experimental surgery to fix it. not a huge stretch.

People are bitching and nitpicking on things that are usually skipped on movies in the interest of time, that are unimportant to the plot, or like 2PAC HOLOGRAM said on things where the mind can fill the gaps. And by the way those kinds of things are not plot holes.

How did he get from the pit to Gothan City?
He is Bruce Wayne, he have traveled the world before.

How he got into the city without triggering the bomb?
He is a fucking NINJA!

How he recovered from his leg?
Didn't anyone see the part where he strapped a device on his leg, then kicked a brick wall breaking it?

Every single piece of dialogue on this movie adds something either to the plot, background story, or the personality of the characters. How could you not be entertained?
