"i broke my back!" LMFAOROFL
i got judah beating cotto by ko, cotto is a good all around fighter but has a hell of a weak chin
The popular Puerto Rican welterweight thrilled his fans, who made up a majority of the filled-to-the-rafters Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, by stopping Brooklyn's Zab Judah in the 11th round to keep his WBA welterweight title.
With chants of "Cotto! Cotto!" and "Puerto Rico! Puerto Rico!" rocking the building, Cotto knocked down Judah earlier in the round before finishing off his 30th straight win at 49 seconds. It was the third straight year Cotto fought in the Garden on the eve of New York's Puerto Rican Day parade, and he gave the raucous crowd of 20,658 a terrific show.^O^ ^O^ ^O^
cotto not all that to me! i think margarito or paul williams would beat him
Like I Said B4 Cotto Has The Weakest Chin In The Game But I Got Mad Respect For Him
Last week was a pretty good fight. Judah wore out in the last rounds like he usually does. And I agree I don't think Cotto can get past Margarito, but I'd still like to see that fight. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. won again too! He should be fighting Arturo Gatti by the end of the year. That is if he can get past Alfonso Gomez.
Malignaggi tonight by UD.
That Juddah/Cotto fight was simply amazing. Zab showed some HEART by not going down even if he was showing up Cotto (even though Cotto was POUNDING his ass!) That's BK RIGHT THERE. That's the whole NY attitude. You get pounded and don't fall. Juddah did slip once and also crouched one time to get a breather. But he could'a easily went down with any of those combos Cotto hit em with in the late rounds.
And did anyone see the Lovemore N'Dou / Pauly Maggalini(?) fight for the Jr Welterweight? It was dope too Pauly took the title from N'Dou, looking for that rematch maybe.
Cotto has a choice to make I would like to see him fight DeLaHoya for obvious reasons.
I Got Big $$ On Hatton 2nite So He Better Beat Castillo, Ill Be Happy If He Does Win By Decision But Hoping For A Ko. I Lost $$ On The N'dou Fight Which I Thought Was Bullshit But Paulie Did Sort Of Impress Me With His Fighting Style. (still A Sore Loser Over Cotto Beating Judah, Hatton Winning Would Be My Revenge)
yep im banking on a hatton win by UD
fuck an UD, what a body shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hatton is def up there now!!!
oh man how about PBF or ODH v The Hitman?????

here is the 4th round :)
From ESPN.com
Ricky Hatton wants a shot at Floyd Mayweather Jr., considered by many to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in boxing. It looks like he might get his wish.
http://assets.espn.go.com/i/story/de.../dropQuote.gif Ricky Hatton cannot fight. He throws one punch at a time and then holds. Hatton is the most overrated fighter of the last 25 years. http://assets.espn.go.com/i/story/de...opQuoteEnd.gif
Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Mayweather said Tuesday he will come out of retirement to put Hatton in his place.
"I was retired but I'll sign to fight Hatton right now. I've tried to let the things he said about me slide by, but now he's 'dissing' me on national TV and I want to shut him up. I've never wanted to hurt an opponent like I do Hatton.
"Ricky Hatton cannot fight. He throws one punch at a time and then holds. Hatton is the most overrated fighter of the last 25 years."
Hatton's one-punch knockout win Saturday night over Jose Luis Castillo to retain his world junior welterweight championship just might have been the breakthrough the British fighter needed to convince fans outside his native country that he is the real thing at 140 pounds.
Like Mayweather, Hatton is undefeated. Unlike Mayweather, he fights in a wild, all-out style that should prove popular as he continues his campaign in the United States.
"There was more action in the four rounds of this fight than Floyd showed in his entire career," Hatton said.

Ricky Hatton
Mayweather announced his retirement after beating Oscar De La Hoya last month.
Hatton's father, Ray, said that his son is ready to face Mayweather -- anywhere.
"We're up for the fight, you've got to be up for a fight like that," Ray Hatton told Radio Five Live in the United Kingdom. "But it doesn't always end with the two fighters. There tends to be a few people getting in between.
"Ricky is chomping at the bit. I've spoken to him a little bit before all this came out and he said it's a no-brainer. It's a definite yes.
"Ricky will fight him anywhere -- that's the difference between him and Floyd, who wants it on home turf."
Leonard Ellerbe, Mayweather's manager, said a fight could happen in the fall.
"Hatton's trying to promote himself off Floyd's name and he [Mayweather] will kick his butt. Floyd told me he wants to get the deal on," Ellerbe said, according to the Guardian newspaper. "Hatton [insulted] Floyd [on television]. But that's OK, he's had his opportunity to talk. Now all he has to do is to sign a contract and we can get this done. We can have it this year, in the fall. We don't need to wait."
I'm not too sure about PBF saying he's going to hurt Hatton more than anyone else. Because he says that a bit too much, but hopefully this falls through. Then Cotto v. Margarito, and winner takes on Hatton v. Mayweather???? Please, not another ODLH v. PBF fight.
Hey RynMur sup?
absolutely right, Hatton v PBF would be amazing and more productive for boxing that PBF V DLH again. and the winner to fight either cotto or magarito would also be wirth the money.
lol mayweather doesn't really hurt, plus, hatton is used to pain and is a true bulldog. I don't want to say yet who would win, but I will place my money conditionally on PBF but I can switch as Htton is somebody underestimated all the time.
Hatton v PBF wouldn't raise anywhere near the same publicity as PBF v DLH in the US. The fight would be either close with Ricky winning, Floyd taking Hatton apart like Gatti or a performance where Hatton is just made to look rubbish like he was against Collazo and Mayweather taking it on points.
What's up prince,
Yea, I'm gonna have to say for right now that PBF has the edge, but I'll be rooting for Hatton (unless I put down some money).
Klitschko was unstoppable last week. I'm not even mad at Brewster for throwing in the towel. He had no chance from the start.
This week my predictions are... Margarito by SD. Gatti by KO. Kermit KO. Forgot about Roy Jones...he'll lose by UD.
I'm suprised no one's talking about Hopkins vs Wright yet, gunna b a monster fight.
Gatti got his ass kicked
ok do u think he is a hall of famer?
paul was great tonight
Damn what a good day of boxing, even if I only went 1 of 4. Two good ko's and then the fight between margarito and williams. I would love to see a rematch between these two. Margarito finally figured out how to beat Williams, but it was too late.
Gatti is just past his time. He may not of beat the best fighters, but I'll say he deserves to be in the hall of fame. He has one of the biggest hearts I've seen in boxing. He's had one of the best fights of all time with Micky Ward. When he's down in a fight, you can still never count him out. And he's a crowd pleaser, all of his fights are usually entertaining.
And lastly, Gomez...what a suprise. He really has matured since being on Contender. Although he's quite brave calling out Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. I'd love to see that, but I don't think Gomez has a chance in hell.
hopkins vs winky, does anybody really wanna see that? 2 of the most boring styles imo, i got $$ on winky tho
^^^ Fuck yea I want to see that. You may call them boring fighting styles, but I see them more as skilled styles. I'm hoping for "fight of the year" from this. Did anyone see the weigh-in? Haha B-Hop pushed Winky in his face at the stand off, then all hell broke lose. Anyways...I'm going with B-Hop by Split Decision (B-Hop will find a way to get past that jab)
Hopkins will hurt Wright early, and dominate the rest of the fight, proving my theory that it's hard to score with your Weinke hurt!
winky takes it 116-112.......
Nah I Got The Executioner Defeating Winky Setting Up A Rematch Between Tito And The Executioner .....Which Will Be The Best Match In Years To Come
ehh, kind of a boring fight. it had its moments but yeah wasnt fight of the year thats for sure. b hop inadvertently headbutted winky opening up a cut just under his left eyebrow. he kept attacking it and it was pretty nasty by the end of the fight.
http://cache.gettyimages.com/xc/7558...33C4DB9B91006E
i didnt think either fighter "won" the fight. i dno, winky landed more jabs, hop landed more power punches. neither of them really impressed me. when it was announced as unanimous i had no idea who's arm they were gonna raise.
I thought the fight was decent. I had Hopkins by two rounds and I thought Hopkins hurt Winky more at the end of the fight (Minus the headbutt). Hopkins v. Calzaghe in Yankee Stadium??? That would be crazy, and I believe that Hopkins can beat him. The only thing that worries me is his legs at the age of 42. Peace.
I Felt Winky Won By Points & The Whole House I Was Watching At (6 People) Felt The Same Way...
^
i am quite shocked that u and 6 others feel that way, i think hopkins won easy, altho it was close.
wicked hopkins won
he cut winky early on
I like hopkins better anyways, good result, not the expected one
the executioner lives on
the cut was from an inadvertent head butt
that was boring as hell i couldnt stand it but thats what i expected
maybe b-hop should retire like he told his mom he would when he turned 40 (he is 42 now)
i wanna see B-Hop fuck up Tarver again [when Tarver's back to his original form, not comin off the 200LB+ for Rocky]
then Hopkins vs. Taylor 3 cuz i cant stand Taylor.. should have lost both fights IMO.
lastly, i wanna see Roy get fucked up as well as Roy beat B-Hop earlier in their career.
anyone interested in seeing pretty boy fight again? hes a boring fighter IMO.
this fight more the likly will never happen calzaghe is fighting kessler in what should be a real good fight and after that the winner (if there is no remacth) will prob fight taylor if he wins vs pavlik who if he wins will fight the winner of that fight and even before that there might be a rematch if taylor was to lose
