that first england goal was all joe cole. man did some dude nasty in the box, left him on the ground. slotted an easy ball across for a tap in. cole should be a lock in any englad team.

Portugal only seem to do well against England in cup competitions, but I would agree, Italy, Germany and Spain would do well against them. it really does go against the heart and soul of football.
i can see it in american football, because teams move around, they come they go. they are only feesable if they are making money. and expanding the fanbase brings in more money.
but with the premiership, and european football in general, its different. every town, city, metropolisis basically has a team. even the biggest teams have been relegated for the most part atleast once in their exsitence. the people are just more invested to me. its a part of who they are.
over here you can be a buffalo bills fan today and in a couple years have your team in toronto, for good. what the f is that? do you still support them? do you hate them because they bounced on all the hardcore fans? that shit would never happen in the european game. you love millwall(even though most everyone hates millwall) if they are in the premiership or if they are in division two.
to me playing matches all over the world just to make money is like whoring out the game. i hate having something i love turned into a whore.
