they should just run a go route to Calvin Johnson on every single play but its too late now barring a crazy upset with roads games againt the Colts and Packers and a home game against the Saints it really looks like they're going 0-16

And it's not a given Philly or Washington are going to win out.
We pretty much had that game won but collapsed at the end. I was mad but we played well enough to beat of one the better teams in the NFL in their home with unfavorable weather conditions. Did I mention Barber wasn't playing too?
Roy Williams
Calvin Johnson
...two...
this is entirely true, for your sake I just hope they get a GM that knows what he's doing. They took too long to fire Millen and it seems like the Lions are on the brink of loosing their Thanksgiving pass. The days of seeing Barry run are a distant, distant memory (and a damn shame too, not a Lions fan but you'd be crazy to not love Barry Sanders running the ball)
theres been talks for months of bring Floyd Reese (Titans old GM) in, but they've jus been playing with his balls the whole time
I say jus get that shit over with and hire him
Marinelli has got to go also. Such a fucking idiot
The problem is, is that our owner is an old fuck that doesnt care about the team, and is only interested in hiring his friends, and making them happy
thus goes to the question of why we have been drafting WR's, when we havent had even a decent O-Line since the mid 90's
I remember the Lions team from the mid 90's, maybe around 94 or 95. They were the favorite to win the Super Bowl that year, but I think they lost in their first playoff game. They had the best group of receivers back then.
I remember the squad but can't remember the WR's names, it was a duo though to go with Barry. But the Lions for as long as I can remember never really had the answer at QB and that's always been the downfall.
but yeah @ 11th, if you know you're in rebuilding mode I think you HAVE to start with your lines first on both sides of the ball. Any other strategy don't really make sense. You'll get a star QB killed. The WRs won't have time to get open and a RB will get pounded all-day (don't matter if your Adrian Peterson)
O-line first, then your D-line (cuz otherwise you'll get run the fuck over) Once you got those you can pick and choose where you want to go.
Yeah, the trio of receivers were all good: Herman Moore, Brett Perriman, and Johnnie Morton. I read that Moore and Perriman were the first wide receiver duo ever to each catch more than 100 receptions in the same season. And Moore set an NFL record for most catches in a season in 1995. Moore and Jerry Rice were like the two best receivers in the NFL around that time.
For a lot of years that Barry Sanders played on the Lions, they had a real bad offensive line. Imagine if he would have had an O line as good as Emmit Smith had on the Cowboys. I mean, Barry Sanders was still the best running back of all time, but just saying.
LOL @ kevin Gilbride declined talking to Buffallo about becoming their coach. (In CollegE). I hope his dumb ass does take the job LOL I'd rather have a new OC anyways man.
Anyone see the game last night? Panthers did a good job.
Man.....if things keep working out for me like they have the past year.....then it'll end up being Panthers/Giants NFC Title Game, the REVENGE GAME
You was like "DID I MENTION BARBER DIDNT PLAY"? I mean why say that that's like me saying after the Browns and Eagles losses "DID I MENTION OSI IS OUT FOR THE SEASON?" Basically the same.
Anyway...what you think bout the Girlz? Yall got problems now man. Big time. Now that the season is over for yall...are you looking at the '09 draft thinking "Was Roy Williams really worth it"?
I dont think the season is over for the Cowboys due to the fact that they hold tiebreakers over every team below them and over the Bucs who is the only other wildcard ahead of them at the moment. So if they tie with other teams, their still in the playoffs. And as far as Roy Williams goes, I think it was a great pick-up because TO isnt going to be there too much longer and Roy is young so he'll be there awhile.
P.E.A.C.E.
Roy hasn't caught more than 1 TD pass with the Girlz though...dude's not that good son. You'd think that with TO by his side he'd be getting more open...seeing more scores...at least getting more passes. Has he caught more than...5 balls in a game since joining the Girlz? I dunno...going by what you just said.. I guess when T.O. LEAVES..then the real ballin ass Roy will surface? Doesn't make sense but okay.
How do you like your chances this week? Girlz are 3 point favs. Giants take the underdog role to heart like none other. I think if we win...yall are eliminated. So basically this will be 2 years in a row we can eliminate yall from the season? Word I like it.
LMAO...Well its a must win unless Falcons and Bucs lose. Roy had some opportunities but its like Romo is forcing to TO too much sometimes and whenever hes in trouble he always looks for Witten, which I cant blame him, but Roy was wide the fuck open in the corner of the endzone against the Steelers and Romo threw the shit fucking left handed, granted he tried but fuck.
P.E.A.C.E.
OH yeah I remember that, he was trying to be like Eli Manning on that shit. Had he just thrown normal which he could've and Aikman even said it..it prolly woulda been a TD.
Exactly. Then he has a fucking smile on his face, lol. You've got to be kidding me.
P.E.A.C.E.
ahaha i was joking with my boy on sunday after the giants loss
"now watch, the best team in the league will be whoever wins monday night"
ahahah sure enough
Yeah. It changes every week. People jumped on the Jets bandwagon before their epic failures over the last two weeks, and look at them now. You gotta look at a teams entire body of work. If u do, how could you say the Giants arent the team to beat in the NFC? How could you say the TItans arent in the AFC?
People will start respecting Tennesee when they win a playoff game..same with the Cowgirls.
I think there's only one team to beat this year and it's the G-Men. Until they get knocked off....then yeah well you know. Though people are starting to doubt us now because of Plax and the loss to the Eagles...watch out now I think it's starting to be 07 all over again. (People starting to doubt us before the playoffs)
But everyone and their moms wanna start using the "underdog" card now that the Giants excelled with it. So that whole shtick may not play out again.
Ravens D will shut down the Titans running game, and those weak dudes they call recievers will be lucky to get a catch
Whatever. Regardless of who would win, it would be close as fuck
Yea. DeAngelo was tearing that shit up
Thats been my boy since he was in college, nice to see him get his shine on
Sorry, but no
The D still gives up to many yards and points
Regardless of the Eagles game, Giants are the best team in the league still
What do you mean by this? I mean, yeah the Cowboys haven't won a playoff game in forever. The Titans lost their only playoff game last year, but coach Fisher has led the Titans to plenty of playoff victories. There isn't any Titans can't win a playoff game curse. WTF?
LOL@Cleveland lost again hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Romeo might as well start packing up his stuff because he's gone after this season LOL. I think the Browns are gonna finish 4-12. Marty Schottenheimer has been talked about maybe replacing Romeo. I don't think any coach can help the Browns become a winner. They will always suck. I bet Detroit finishes 0-16 hahahahahahahahahahaha. Who was Terrell Owens yelling at on the sidelines last week? LOL. I know he was mad at Romo for throwing those interceptions. Dallas had Pittsburgh beat.
I don't know if Owens is going to be a Cowboy for much longer if things don't simmer down. lol
It's no suprise that Owens always opens his big mouth. It was only a matter of time before he starting bitching. When things go bad he loves to create controversy. The Cowboys are done. Let the Giants put them out of their misery.
T.O better realize the cowboys will be fine without him. next season if he is still with them team he wont even be the number one target or even number two. He will be the third at best behind Jason and Roy. furthermore he sounds really homo by getting mad that Toney and Jason are sharing a room together
