ya the pencils for the GL 5O cover does look better but the composition of the image is still not dynamic...the other characters are awkwardly placed relative to Hal

right now is dc>marvel? not just for blackest night, but for the batman titles and the vertigo stuff, and offering second features for the 3.99 and for offering vertigo #1s for a dollar...and straczynski is writing brave and the bold now which is very good imo...
and iron man's new wetsuit looking armor is straight...i like the headlights and his hands, it's not awful but it's not great either, it seems more like spider-man to me...i think it's inferior to the granov designed armor which was like the apotheosis of dope looking iron man armors imo...the ones from heroes reborn and heroes return were great as well

i am with the studio on this one...vulture? seriously? a villain even most spider-man fans think is lame. i'm glad they ousted him. and tobey and dunst. nothing about those movies felt like spider-man anyway so good riddance.

this is a really good story and the art is pretty damn good.
Robinson is hit or miss with me but i think it's all on his mood... you can tell when he's really focused and intrested in what he's working on.
i usually hate reading hero-collective stories cause the dialogue is 90% of the time crap.
it's usually
unwitty banter
crying about how 1 individual has it harder or wants to go rogue
or corny uplifting crap
this story isnt exempt from that but aside from that i can really dig the direction its going in.
ive never read a full JLA story or JSA story...few issues here and there.
