Not sure if it was discovered before, but RZA sampled "Swan Lake" by Ferrante & Teicher for "Black Star Line-Up" from The World According to RZA.

Yes, I've known it for years. Matter of fact I found it on my own before I found out it had already been added to WhoSampled. I remember making a beat and I was skimming thru Sarah Vaughan's songs and found this ;) I checked and it was already on WS.
I used to. I haven't made one in two or three years I guess. I'll post some of my work later
Killarmy's "Love, Hell or Right" samples "We've Only Just Begun" from Henry Mancini and Doc Severinsen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPYXdR-6ipw
Been found for years
To Cilva and other sample searchers:
On "As Long As You Know" by Scientfik (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt8XdsrcwDk) RZA used the same sample as he did on Ol Dirty's "Goin Down" and it's been known for years but the original sample has never been found. I always thought it might be from one of the Thelonious Monk's songs as RZA sampled him a lot back in the early days of Wu but someone on YT wrote that it was from "The crazy part was about 8 years ago 2010-2011 someone uploaded the original piano sample. It's some obscure band from the 60s but it got taken down and I forgot the song title".
Do yall know what sample he talked about?
Btw. Sometime ago I found out that Meth's "Sandman" uses similar voice sample that is on "As Long As You Know". I'mma show it one day but I gotta find time
does anyone have this one?

No unsticking this please.
Also, word on the streets is... the infamous Glaciers of Ice sample can be found in the intro of the Activision Keystone Kapers videogame. I haven't been able to check and know nothing of videogames, but if anyone wants to look, go for it. Just a rumor but from quite a reliable source I'd say, but who knows. And Rae does mention the Keystone Kaper in the songs lyrics. Let me know how it goes.

This?
This thread doesn't get posted in much for a sticky but who am I to argue.
So do you think thats it? I can kind of hear it but when the sample is manipulated so much I don't know that it matters where the sample came from. It could be anything at that point.
hard to tell! I wouldn't swear on it. people with better ears and people with experience pitching can say for sure I guess

I see someone posted this in the YT comments section to the vid of the instrumental version

The little string, distorted sound that comes in every other bar, is a sample from Keystone Kapers. The character jumping SFX is pitched down and time stretched along with different effects. RZA was ahead of his time with the sampling
I'm sorry I couldn't resist
Hard to tell. I'm sure Soob will try it out and let us know.
