Learn to take a fuckin loss
Teach me, master of them.
T.O. doesn't have any credibility at all.
The vikings face another good team in the falcons; this could be a possible playoff game.
Time Warner cable really sucks. not only do I have to miss the Thursday game, but also the Saturday one too.
NFL RULES: Field Rules
FIELD
1. Sidelines and end lines are out of bounds. The goal line is actually in the end zone. A player with the ball in his possession scores a touchdown when the ball is on, above, or over the goal line.
the ravens got ripped off, however there is no excuse for letting a team go 92 yards. especially with that defense
Don't worry. We will regroup. Big game next weekend.
Yeah not having Jacobs hurt us but I'm not going to use that as an excuse. The Giants should have played a better game than that. Damn Dallas lol. Well they needed that win.
Huge game between the Giants and Panthers next week. Thats going to be for the #1 seed in the NFC. It's going to be a smash mouth game. I can't wait.
that game is going to be pure smash mouth football.
That game next week will show where the Giants really are, they still control their own destiny but any team that's getting ready for the playoffs wants to be firing on all cylinders and I don't think anyone can say that's what they're doing right now. Only time will tell.
Now how bout them muthapuckin TEXANS ahaha, I actually sold my tickets for the game just cause I had some partying to do this weekend and wasn't really feelin up to drivin to Houston (and I had my doubts about us stopping the Titans run game) but man, what a great win. Schaub did what alot of naysayers thought he couldn't go, play a mistake free game of football with no turn-overs and when we do that we got a good chance against pretty much anybody in the league.
We're still a couple of pieces away, I'm not trying to say we've arrived yet but we are CLOSE. The secondary still got burned a couple of times yesterday but Collins just missed the throws. One of those was on 4th down when they should of kicked the field goal but if he does complete it the TD was there. But still not sure why you'd gamble like that when homefield advantage is still on the line. The Titans sure as hell paid for it though. :) The rookie Slaton looked better than JOhnson yesterday and Andre Johnson was beastin the whole fuckin team :b that catch he snagged over Finnegan late in the game was fuckin amazing. If dude don't make the Pro Bowl its fuckin robbery.
I gotta love what we've been doin in the draft the last couple of years. When Casserly was GM we'd pretty much tank every single draft. (Jason Babin in the first fuckin round??? are you kidding me?) But with Smith in there now a lot of great picks and a huge boost in the talent level. We'll load up on D this next draft so that they can play a lot more blitzs and NOT get burned on the backend. With only the Raiders and the Bears left we've got a legitimate shot at the first winning season in franchise history so everything is going how it needs to. We're definitely a team thats upcoming and if they can keep the coaching staff and the GM in there I think we'll be in that position for a very long time. Colts are getting swept next year!
^^^Yeah it's going to be a big game. If the Giants lose that one then I'll be worried. But I know they will be back on track. BTW props to your Texans. Not a bad season.
thanks man, we could've been playoff-bound if it wasn't for a couple of supreme fuck-ups but yeah gotta be happy with the overall finish especially if we win out from here (and a with a game against the raiders, we're pretty much guarenteed atleast 8-8)
couple of big games for the top seeds in both conferences next week
Steelers @ Titans
Panthers@ Giants
how do you approach that as a coaching staff?? There's a lot on the line with the homefield advantage but at the same time you don't wanna throw too much out there as you very well might face the same team for even bigger stakes in just a couple of weeks.
I hope who ever loses that game does not win another game. if the Vikings win out and one of those teams lose the rest of there games we would get a first round bye.
Steelers will beat the Titans
The Bears will snap the Texans in half. They are going to win their next two games, and the Vikings will lose the next two. The Bears will take the division.
As I said already, Panthers ar the best team in the league
don't be so sure of that, this isn't the same Texans of the Capers/Carr/Casserly years--------the give'me games are over--especially with Schaub in at QB, its not a definite win but its not a guarenteed loss either
they'll get their chance to prove it next week. I find it funny that there was talk of Fox being on the hot seat last year, he's like Jeff Fischer in that he seems to be a coach that's going to continue to put a winner on the field year-in and year-out. They'd be smart to hold onto the dude even they have the rocky season every now and thenQuote:
As I said already, Panthers ar the best team in the league
Eagles Play Tonight!!!!!
wsup with the giant's O-line rolling out the red carpet for the cowboys?
they're gonna get young eli killed out there.
12 sacks in 2 games against the cowboys in un-acceptable
I'd think the main goal would be to get the bye and homefield, so a coach basically has to go balls to the wall and have no fear. Playoff games at home are too important to worry about injuries. Injuries will happen regardless, I don't see coaches worrying about that. They're mindset should be on homefield. All four of these guys are tops in the coaching department, especially Fox and Fisher. They'll be ready for a war next week to improve their rankings for the playoffs.
I guess you missed when Kareem McKenzie the Right Tackle went down. Ware started coming off the right end when he did, creating mad havoc on the backup and thus making it a free for all on the rest of the O-Line when we needed to put a tackle on Ware to help Booth. Was a tough day for the O-Line before that, but a lot of sacks came once Booth jumped in the game for McKenzie. Like I said McKenzie better be okay or we're in trouble at that right tackle spot.
Giants didn't run the ball effectively either, which had the Girlz foaming at the mouth for Eli.
Also, I thought the Girlz did a great job in beating our blitzes with short passes and dump offs. That reaaaally slowed down our rush for the end of the game, they had us tired as fuck I could see.
I tip my hat to the Girlz for them playing some of their best football in..forever. They play like they have been the past few weeks and we'll really see the Cowgirlz everyone wants in the Super Bowl. Either way, we'll see ya'll in the playoffs...I got a feeling it'll be Dallas / New York in that Divisional Round once again. Atleast this time we're tied up. It's tough beating a team 3 times in a season.
It's gonna be tough, G-Men are playing uninspired football. Panthers are fast on both sides of the ball, I think they may be a little better defensively than Dallas or Philly, which is scary to think. Steve Smith and those two RBs are going to give us fits. We need to start opening things up downfield, especially if Jacobs is hurting. Eli's got the arm, more than 1 reciever has the speed...let's start chucking the damn ball on these secondaries and see what happens. Because these D'z are starting to focus on our running attack.
It you look at the stats there's actually atleast two teams that are very close (Titans and Ravens) so they're actually not alone but you're right about the D in the playoffs.
The Titans are gonna have a hell of a hard time without Haynesworth in the mddle. They better hope he's healthy for the playoffs or they're really in trouble.

Looks Like the eagles will be going 8-5-1.
Thanks man, feels good after all those years of utter frustration to be headed where we need to go, I'm glad Collins was havin an off game, we got beat deep on more than one occasion but the throws just weren't where they needed to be. Good Luck in the playoffs man.
Visions, I rarely come through in this forum, and you know what, youre a texan, and I am from the crown town, my boys can run all over everyone and we have the illest muhfucka in the league. On top of that, I drafted Kevin Walter for my fantasy football squad, who was a rare breed. Nonetheless, Jake Delhomme went back to back with Brady in your home state and on top of that, you said you wanted J. Stew from Oregan and we have the illest 1 2 punch in the league, this is our year. You know it, and its not like I am proving you wrong, so life is good for me. Fuck anyone who doubted the Cats, Panthers got hot when it counts, and you never argued that. Deangelo and Stewart are the illest. Go Panthers
Dear Santa..............
All I want for Christmas is the Vikings to beat the Falcons.............(go Eagles)
Yeah, well I wanted them to beat the Steelers. Didn't happen. Ravens are just not very good on offense imo. Willis Mcgahee is a shell of himself. Mcclain is slow, and has terrible agilty, though he is a very hard runner. Flacco is decent at times, but too inconsistent with his accuracy. Their O-line isn't exactly scaring anyone either. Mason is a good possession reciever, but not explosive. Todd Heap is a shell as well. Their defense is nice as hell though. I think Dallas beats them.
westbrook = mvp
Did anybody vote on the Redskins coach being the worst coach in America poll?
I read that Thomas Jones is the leading rusher in the AFC?
