Trump has essentially been banned from the internet except for a Russian app.
Big tech is fast tracking censorship in the wake of this Capitol fiasco the same way the patriot act was pushed after the twin towers oh and in the same week Facebook are forcing whatsapp users to hand over their data to Facebook or forfeit using the app lol

Don't know what Twitter gains from banning Trump, this will just piss off Republicans even more and cause greater divide.
Ofcourse there is also the arguement that Twitter is a private platform, Trump's tweets probably went against their terms and conditions. Trump just has to communicate the old fashion way through TV and Radio.
I doubt it goes anywhere but some Congress people wanted to go after the media conglomerates that carry Foxnews, OAN and other channels like that.
