I love it when a song fits perfectly with a scene in a movie and makes the scene work. American Me is great, kind of a more powerful story than Blood in Blood out was. It's mostly a true story too except the very few things that were historically inaccurate with regards to his death and something in his first night in juvenile La Eme put hits out on people involved with the film and had them killed because it disrespected his legacy lol
The Animals are great too, love them
There was a documentary made during filming too on how they got co-operation from the real life gangs when filming on location in East LA and places like that and using real gang members in prison scenes, interesting
