I'm against steroids, but I also remember Fernando Vargas vs. Oscar De La Hoya, Vargas was tested positive on a banned substance after the fight & still got knocked out. I'm more excited about Mosley vs. Berto at this point. I'll get in the ring with either Pacman or Mayweather for 15k...shit I've gotten my ass beaten for free. There's no such thing as "tale of the tape" in the streets.

the other day the kids said boxers would get beat up if they stepped inside the 'cage'...he does that UFC shit, so he is obviously bias....
but i disagree.
I thinka great boxer could more than hold their own. Look at Lidell and Rampage. You can be very successful just being a puncher with limited ground skills.
On the flip side, any UFC fighter who stepped into the ring with a pro boxer would get taken apart quickly.

ever since UFC changed its rules and it has started to benefit the strikers, it just makes it easier for people with hand skills.
I just go by what i see with Lidell and Rampage......those guys were punchers and they dominated....and they dont have the skill of a pro boxer with their hands.

what im sayiing tho is that its much easier for a boxer with no ground background to succeed in UFC than it would be for a UFC guy with no boxing background to survive in boxing.

i trained as a boxer/muay thai for 6 years before i got introduced to jui jitsu. and i got owned.

i dont think the average striker would ever beat the average grappler because in order for a striker to win he has to knock you out which is far harder and takes longer then grabbing someone a choking them out or grabbing a limb and breaking it

I'm with mayweather on this one, he has to ensure a fair fight and the blood tests guarantee this. Wouldn't Manny agree to it if he was clean? this is something that can completely tarnish his rep.
