Which club do yall think is going to win the EPL? i say Chelsea.
Man U. Can't see them dropping 6 points in 7 games.
Yeah but they've got Ronaldo, and right now Ronaldo is not of this world.
^ so true, but they still gonna face arsenal, Chelsea and other clubs that are unbeatable during the last few league games.
man utd will win, its not about having c.ronaldo. alex fergusen has been in this situation countless times, he wont let them drop 6 points.
Err.. Arsenal didn't look unbeatable today.
I'd be very surprised if Man Utd don't win it. They have the team, the squad, the experienced manager and the stand out star player. It all adds up to a win I reckon.
Wouldn't be surprised if they won the Champ League either.
roma have been playing really well lately. they are a darkhorse in the champs league.
Dunno, a win at home for Man Utd and a draw at Roma already this season. I'm not sure Roma will do it.
My tip for a surprise is Schalke 04 to beat Barca.
Ignore, accidental post.
^^ Yeah but everyone doubted they'd get this far. No one thought there'd be one Premiership team in the semis of the FA Cup. It's the beauty of sport.
^ i think he ment they would give them a good match.
on the arsenal v. chelsea game today. i found it fucking hilarious that after grant made that double substition about 2/3s through the game, the chelsea fans started chanting "jose morinho" and "you dont know what your doing". clearly referencing grant. and than they go score two goals and win 2-1. what a bunch of cunts chelsea fans are. jose was all talk. anyone can coach that team with the players they have.
how bout valencia too...only 2 wins in league all year. than in back to back games the go and beat barca than real 3-2 in both games. (granted the barca win was in the copa, but regaurdless)
No he wasn't. He won the Premier League twice, doesn't look like Grant is going to. Ranieri didn't win it before Mourinho arrived either. And he won the Champions League with Porto. They didn't have anything like the money Chelsea did.
I hate Chelsea, but I'm not gonna knock Mourinho's talents as a manager.
Grant, in general doesn't know what hes doing. see the carling cup final for example, or the game last wednesday for another. hes not a manager. although it was a great result today the chelsea fans have every right to chant whatever they want. we pay alot of money to go see that team. in your money we pay $98 a game to see chelsea. thats alot of money in comparison to other teams. so we can say whatever we want to be honest. without the fans there would be no football clubs.
mourinho is a king. you wont realise that until he manages your favourite team.
well..... i used to like you spinx, until you said you were a yid ;)
but as i said, the carling cup final...... in extra time the man was pacing up and down on the pitch with his head down biting his nails, he didnt know what to do. luckily we had john terry talking a bit of sense to the players while grant shat himself. i still think we should have put steve clarke in charge until the end of the season and went for someone in the summer. rumours are rijkaard but who knows.
Agree totally.
I'm sorry about being as yid, I was born into it. It should be enough for you to know it has given me a life of suffering!
He didn't win the champions league with chelsea, a team with supremely talented players compaired to his porto squad. He also lucked out that year he won it, playing against monaco in the final. Lets be honest, knockout compititions just happen like that, but there were surley lots better teams that year that he could have played instead of monaco. (i dont blame him for that, because you cant pick who you play, but you get my point)
He didn't win the league last year, he wasn't even close to winning the league this year. Grant has actually brought them closer to winning the league this year.
They didn't win the league with Ranieri, but they came close. Chelsea didn't get loaded with players till Jose came in.
In my opinion the two years Chelsea did win, were down years for the likes of the other big 3 (or 2 however you look at it).
mourinho is a good manager fuck the haters ... ranieri was a very good manager who was treated disgracefuly by roman ... if ranieri couldn't do it, if mourinho couldn't do it ... how the fuck is avram going to do it ? he's not
Luca Toni = G.O.D.
^^ fan video of his first half of the season with us ... 17 goals in 22 matches
now oliver kahn. 38 years old and would still rival any goal keeper. this save against leverkusen is fucking ridiculous
what more can you say ?? he goes to his right, it's deflected and he stops it with his boot. you cant fuck with that
how many toni on now, surely he leading candidate for golden boot.
and about avram grant, the guy still aint got a coaching licence or some shit like that.
toni has 16 in the league and i think 26 in all competitions ... i think he's equal top scorer in the UEFA cup ... i think ronaldo will win golden boot hasn't he got like 33 in 35 or some shit ?
still toni has been pulling these numbers for about 4 years now ... still 9 bundesliga games left and potentialy 5 in the uefa cup ... plus we're in the DFB Pokal final so who knows ... treble up for grabs
i still can't see how you can dump mourinho ... but chel$ki problem was always abramovich ... he wanted people like shevchenko when mourinho didn't and that kind of friction can't function because the amount of money sheva is getting you can't waste that on the bench ... but it disrupts what was already a winning formula ... chel$ki would of been better off keeping the basis of the side and just bring in two or three young ones for development
kahn is just ridiculously good. best goalie ever by far. bit mental though.
spending $$ on the wrong players
how old is toni??
i heard he like 30 something
took him awhile to shine no??
cr7 is a beast
and hes not even a striker
i doubt he will shine in the euro tho
toni is only 30 ... he's at his peak
if league goals are all that's considered for golden boot then i guess he's in with a chance ... 9 games left though
# 5 and 8 were the best in that toni montage. control was superb. i beeen telling you toni is that dude tonearm.
im hoping milan scoops him up, as i heard he is a bit homesick.
he was playing in serie C until like 25. hes a bit of a late bloomer. but how he scores isnt really with pace. its more about positioning and quality control. those qualities last a while, he could easily still pump in a lot of goals for 4/5 more years and still be affective until 37/38 barring any injuries.
france beat england.
fukin turkey draw with belarus, now i aint to fuked about the score who cares really, we got a ton of injury's now thanks to retarded football by belarus.
true. but look at guys like teddy sheringham, still effective at an older age. jan koller, hes still playing and i think hes around 37. veiri is about 35 and totti wants roma to sign him for next year.
and i totally 100% agree with getting amauri for italy. he would fit perfect as one of the wing men in donadonis 4-5-1/4-3-3 formation. in defence its the first, in attack the latter.
i think brazil is stupid for not calling him up. but if you think about it, wheres the room? kaka, robinho, ronaldinho, anderson, fred, pato, (id say vagner love, but i think hes a buster) all really good forward/attacking players. and thats withstanding the guys i cant name off the top of my head real quick.
^true
brazil beat sweden
pato wih a rainbow of a goal
spain beating italy 1-0
greece again ruining portugal 2-1 (portugal without 6 major players)
mexico beating ghana 2-1
usa gets the shocker beating poland 3-0

haha whitey sheringham is like 41, 42 and the mofo was still scoring goals in the championship ... and luca toni, i was a bit ehhh when he came becaused if prefer a midfielder since we had a few strikers ... but thank fuck he did. how long we can hold him? i dont think we will keep him long. nor ribery. our team is going to fall apart in two years, lahm is going to leave and maybe schweinsteiger ... ze roberto will retire, lucio looks set to take a final big contract, van buyten wants out, demichelis is in career best form so someone will come looking ...
toni could do it ... 38 for a striker, he wouldnt be at a big team he would be like sheringham and play somewhere serie b or something ... dwight yorke came here and played for sydney fc at like 35 and played the best of his career for sydney and trinidad since his united days ... benito carbone and kazu miura came too, 37 or something ... kazu was 39 and both tore shit up ... romario came and flopped
now im telling all you people here ... mario gomez IS that MOTHERFUCKER. you watch him at euro 2008 ... i actually think he is similar to toni ... big and strong BUT he has so much control of the ball for a big man that it's unbelievable and he has extraordinary pace that's deceptive ... this man IS stuttgart and if it weren't for him they'd be in pieces ... gomez is certainly the future of german football and when toni kroos comes into that team they're going to be hard to stop in 2010
LOL @ Austria ... 3-0 up and lose 4-3 ... makes me ALMOST feel sorry for them ... but in a way i do be cause the press are saying stupid shit like "replace us with a better team at euro 2008" thats shit you should be getting behind your team no matter what ... 100 losses in a row and you should still cheer and support like it aint a thing. id be disgusted if i were an austrian player ... reverse psychology though ??
i did laugh at that austria score. but they were playing the netherlands. getting up 3-0 is an accomplishment in a sense for a smaller footballing nation.
and mario gomez is good. there was also talk about milan buying him. haha i love how every good striker these days is linked with milan. but im fine with it. possibly super pippo is replaced by super mario ?!?!?! that would be sick.
i read today that drogba told his chelsea teammates he will sign for inter in the summer. get the fuck out of here with all those forwards. having adriano coming back. plus the youngster ballotelli who is dirty as a bitch. that would be 7 QUALITY forwards. iiddddioooots. but i would assume that possibly means jose will be taking over? interesting.
lol i thought inter signed only argentineans anyway ... apparently roma, milan and juve are interested in gomez ... id say roma would be the best option but i would doubt he would turn milan down ... plus milan will have a massive fuckin clean out, they will be the most active in the transfer market for sure ... keep away from bayern and its all good hahaha ...
but serious, droba to inter ... why? why would you do it? the perennial chokers of european football? damn. milan would be a better option, they need a striker bad ... ronaldo gone, pippo kicking on ... that leaves pato and gilardino ... paloschi only like 17 so they could use him ...
another team that could definately use drogba is man united. they havent got an all out and out striker. they might be leading and they might have rooney and tevez but neither of those are out and out striker, theyre more like a dennis bergkamp and they need a henry or ruud van nistelrooy. if i were drogba i would go to manchester united
heh
:)
What's up guys? Roma-Manchester this coming week!!!!
heard van nistleroy is gonna sign with ac milan
quaresma might sign with real or milan
ronaldinho with ac milan
mourinho in charge of barcelona?!?!?
