Tell me one thing...are there as many donks on the other poker sites as on Full Tilt?
lol if you cant 8 table, might as well not play online, multi-tabling is what makes online poker EV+ compared to live
and $16/hr is my average since i started making those sngs with a micro-limit BR, its barely impossible to make that much playing micro cashgames
I do 2 tables...with a bigger monitor, 4.
You know what sucks...those matrix thingamadjigs
That's true it does get boring quick and call things you normally wouldn't. I am playing one table right now but Im browsing the web and doing other things at the same time.
If you can handle 8 tables are arent holding the tables up and aren't going crazy....thats crazy.
all you need is 2 monitors, 4 tables on each and it aint hard, the folding equity is alot higher thought, thats for sure. but 8 tabling is nothing, go on 2+2 forum's section called ''beat, brag and variance'' its filled with topics about ppl making crazy propbets where the players must play 45+ tables at the same time to win the pbet. theres a guy last month who won a 20k bet, he had to make 10k in 2 weeks playing SNG ($16 b-i max)starting with a $100 BR. this guy was probably playing 50-60 tables at the same time
Playing Omaha H/L tonight....havent played in months. I had to read B-rock's last post for a small refresher. It seems the lower tables are for the people that dont play much/dont know how to play. Most of the people are probably playing with less than 1% of their bankroll anyway.
Just playing some .25/.50 NL H/L and some donk raised preflop with 7d 2d 5c 8c. I flushed the board with the Kd and the low was gone and he was still betting all in...lol. Easy 10 bucks.
update: 65 hands dealt...made $45....good night.
goddamn 5/10nl is rigged..
all online cash games are, they are built to cause sick amounts of coolers. your best bet is to play as slow as humanly possible and only raise when you have the nuts or close to it.
plz be joking
I wish I was, but the only time I've had success in cash games is to play super tight. I just sat at 3 PLO8 tables for about 3 hours and didn't catch a single big hand. I've got morons all around me raising preflop with anything imaginable and hitting runner runner garbage straights to beat my top set. It's asinine considering how much better I am than them. I can't figure it out for the life of me, other than they are helping the dumber players and punishing those who understand the game. Like I said before, the cash games are completely fucked. I lose about 2% of the time in live cash games and lose about 75% of the time in online cash games.
I agree...cash games are a total donkfest... I'm playing supertight 2 but people there don't think like if you reraise someone preflop after you've sat there for 2 hours not playing a hand, they'd still call you with K3 offsuit and hitting their miracle cards..fucking hate it...I only play small stake SNG's these days...playing tight there and letting the donks kill eachother enables me to make the money
im afraid you are probably bad at poker
lol your set didnt hold up in a PLO8 game? NEVER SEEN BEFORE!! christ mate its completely standard...
of course you lose less often in live cash games. those are filled with complete morons, while online cash games usually have much tougher opponents in comparison. 5/10 live is like 0.10-0.25 online skillwise
and yes there are many donks... they get lucky sometimes. just as often as they do in live games. thing is, seeing as you get to see WAY more hands in the same time span online then you do live, it seems like it happens more often
that said, you claiming that sites somehow rig hands in favor of bad players and against you, is absolutely ridiculous.
and if you really believe that, then why the FUCK do you keep playing online? thats the only thing dumber
christ people i started with $50 online and grinded my way up to a $100K+ bankroll playing nlhe cashgames.... guess im just a donk who got lucky on all the good players? dont be silly
lollll
whats your stars screenname? what stakes do you wanna play?
my stars sn is kingetje
believe me I understand top set isn't good in omaha, but you just didn't understand what I was saying
this is my hand AsAd2s7d and I call a raise and a reraise preflop
now here is my flop
Ac9dks
after a bet, I reraise and get called by this
2s3d4hQc
and the board comes 3c 5h
the guy calls a pot sized reraise with that, and i'm crazy?
yes it sucks to lose a pot with a big hand.... but that happens in poker. online and live
however, any low card (card 8 or lower) on the turn would give him the nuttiest of nut low draws. dont know about plo odds/maths but it might not been that horrific of a call as it might seem at first glance
Omaha hi or hi lo? Doesn't really matter tho', if the donk called a reraise when he has his own outs in his hand
Dude i know all about pot odds, there is no runner runner draw that could make it right for him to call. I looked up your stats on bluff, not bad, but you didn't even come close to having a 100k bankroll. I cashed 30+ grand on Bodog last year and another 10k on stars this year and that is all low stakes. I'd love to play you on Stars but clearly that would be a waste of your time, as I just got slaughtered and am practically broke. I never deposit, ever. I grind my way up through the low stakes and when I attempt that next level, I have absolutely no success. I run into more 20-1 coolers than anybody alive.
you talking to me or mic cord?
mic cord
dude you cant be serious? cause some website has all the data right? hahQuote:

so you cashed for $40K + in tournaments and you are now broke? yeah thats a real testament to what a good player you are
and yes i hid my OPR stats. im prolly down on tournaments but i dont care. i hardly play them and when i do its for laughs and some variation... the buyin for the sunday million is 20 big blinds for me. big whoop! i play CASH not donkaments
and you can PM me all you want but im NOT staking some busto who thinks online is rigged
Ok, that's cool, I'm just asking. What do you really have to lose by proving me wrong? Perhaps I'm just running really horribly, but i offer you a chance to sit at a table with me and see if I'm lying or really just a "busto" like you said. I have no money on Bodog, because i cashed it out and left the site permanently after they shut down and it took 4 months for my check to arrive. I don't appreciate the insinuation that I'm a loser simply because i couldn't hang on to a bankroll. But thanks anyway.
I understand why it's easy for you to say online isn't rigged....and I'm sure you deposited money on their site. They probably love you.
Nice guys.
My tournament rankings dropped to 0 ROI when I started playing bigger SNGs but havent played many SNGs since.
I worked up to a $600 BR from mostly 1/2 limit after $250 from low SNGS so now I can technically afford it now. After 1/2 then everything goes downhill...I dont take shots at 2/4 anymore.
I will probably just stick with 1/2 limit, .10/.25 NLHE/Omaha, and $10 max tourney buy-ins. I should shoot for more $26 and $75 tokens on FT....trouble is those 24+2 tourneys on FT are circuses.
Is there any way to transfer funds on PS? I dont have good deposit/withdraw options for that site.
pokerstars has one of the best transfer systems. it's quick and there are never any questions asked. As for as withdrawl options, you can get a check in 2 days, what's the problem with that?
Good...I wanna request a FT for PS money sometime if anyone can do that.
I forgot to try and get a WTC private tourney for the WTC poker bracelet. It may be possible to make a private freeroll with minimum $25.
how much do you need? because I'm tired of pokerstars, I know full tilt isn't much better, but it can't be that worse either.
