i disagree there, he's already cemented his place in the boxing HOF for his career so far. however, if he does fight and beat pacquiao (which i know he will) he's gonna be put right up there with boxing gods such as ali, sugar ray robinson, roberto duran etc. etc.Quote:

Floyd will go down as pathetic if he doesnt do this fight. He has a name (deserved or not) already for dodging fights.
Floyd's just a much smarter guy than other boxers. Granted, pride in wanting to fight the best all the time is gonna get you a lot of respect, but there's too many boxers out there who've ruined themselves for being way too brave for their own good. Muhammad Ali is probably the most known example of this.
I'd rather boxers retire early with a lot of money and still be able to enjoy it.
Floyd is not at that point. He has a good trilogy with Manny in him.
