To say Jose never could is a bit dumb. If he had stayed at the club I'm sure he would have brought them the Champs League at some point. You can't say someone failed cos they didn't manage to win it in three atempts. Most people rate Fergie as a manager, but he's only managed to win it once (so far) in all his years at Man U. When saying he didn't come near winning the P'ship in his last season at Chelsea, you left out the fact that he won the League twice in his three years.
You just had to watch Chelsea in the Carling Cup final and the away leg against Fenebache, to see that Avram Grant is no Mourinho.
And I'm a Spurs fan, I have no loyalty to Chelsea or Mourinho.

Because Grant was brought in under the nose of Mourinho and was part of the original unrest. He hasn't suffered from the public arguements with Abramovich and so on that plagued Mourinho's last season there.

yeah the thing about Zenit is that if you watched the leverkusen game today. the pitch is fukin awful in russia. its close to farmland. Zenit players are used to playing on such a shitty surface, Bayern willl struggle.
