Im still gutted bout da match at anfield on tuesday, d betta team lost and luck was on liverpools side yet agen (penalty decisions in both legs). I enjoyed watching highlights of the UEFA Cup matches last night well done to all who went through they were deserved winners over both legs. But it mite av been different foe Getafe had they not been down to 10 men for over a 100 mins of play, i think it'll be rangers vs bayern in the final with the german team winning the final itself. I jus hope the gunners can pull off a shock on sunday and beat the champions elect.

i think if barca bring in drogba they run into the same problem as with henry. they like playing eto'o ,who is younger than both, in that center position of the 3 forwards. that is where henry played at arsenal, and where he is at his best, but he has been played out to the left, and you can tell that is effecting him. drogba also plays in the center of the pitch, hence why sheva got shafted because he had to play on the wing and he is not a winger at all. what do you do? play drogba and eto'o as a two man forward line? that would work, but than what do you do with messi and bojan? make them play more midfield roles where they have to waste more energy playing defense? i dont know about that.

drogba would be perfect at milan because they like playing with that point striker, and have the midfield to support him. but if they bring back sheva (which looks likely, for a lot cheaper i would assume) they run into the same quagmire they had a chelsea. so i dont think drogba will land in milan. unless its inter, who loves to just stockpile good forwards so who knows.

the ronaldinho to milan move as ive read from a couple places is agreed on in principle. a deal worth 40 or 50 million dollars. thats IT. that is awsome for milan. which turns out to be like 22 million euros. it makes the sheva deal look that much better, considering they sold sheva for 30 million euros at 2 years older.


milan getting sheva back at the point striker where he belongs to pump in goals like he used to. with 2 out of the 3 of kaka, ronaldinho and pato behind him running wild on teams. behind them would be the pirlo gattuso ambrosino (or another horse of d mid that they may bring in). than zambrotta, nesta, kaldeze, and bonera or oddo on the right. siiiick. although they do need to bring in another second forward, a jon dal tommasson type player. someone who is good but is content with playing a lesser role at a massive club. and another younger defender or two in the back for cover/the future.

a goalie would be nice, but i think kalac would be good enough for 1 more year to make sure they dont over spend on someone and get a good deal on a younger keeper. possibly the mexican Ochoa, hes a gem.

Juve 3 - 2 Milan, game was good until the sending off. stupid tackle on sissoko, nearly the same as the eduardo incident. really fuked up Milans champs league chances.

Barca 2 - 2 Recreativo. Barca continue to slide i think La Liga is gone for them now.

Bremen 5 - 1 Schalke. shokin, but i guess Schalke are jus dissapointed at being out of the champs league.

milan v. juve was a good game. shitty result for me but none the less. very dissapointing if we do not make champions league.

juves second goal was offsides. and the foul that set up the third goal was not there. shoulder to shoulder.

schalke got a few players missing ...

bayern destroyed dortmund 5-0 ... 10 point lead now and that's the league wrapped up pretty much since we don't meet anyone in contention and there's 6 games to go ... we meet dortmund in the cup final on the 19th and i can guarentee it won't be 5-0 ... i think we've just given BVB more ammunition ... luca toni cracks 31 goals in all competitions in his debut season for bayern

Schalke sacked Slomka over night, not a huge surprise really given the expectations, but still pretty harsh on a side that has performed relatively well with season.

Harsh defeat for Arsenal, but Man U's depth really shone through. Hoping chelsea win and make the final rounds interesting.

i cant believe Arsenal lost that game. they dominated it man utd looked shit. Adebayor missed some good chances. and the Arsenal players were sleeping when Hargreaves took that freekick.

la liga is much stronger. the amount of teams that have beaten the top 4 teams.. the points between the top and bottom are one of the lowest in a league in europe.
the players are technically and mentally better..
from torres point of view.. he has to do more work.. to create a chance.. or an opening.. he has to beat his man in spain.. but in england.. its alot easier for a player with skill and tehcnique as the defenders dont back off u.. their right on u.. easier for u to turn.. as their already onthe move.. its harder in england for the lower teams to beat the top few,.

la liga is defiantly better than bpl.

I agree with the Spanish league having a broader range of stronger teams. i mean like this year you have Villareal near the top. your never gonna get to see a team like Everton or Man city break into the top 2 in the Premier League.

The EPL title is still up for grabs, not that im interested apart from the fact i want my Fantasy team to kill the remaining weeks.

Resting players is becoming ridiculous, talk of large scale at Liverpool and other EPL in the light of UCL fixtures virtually 2 weeks later.

I really hope Liverpool somehow get over taken by Everton, although its extremely unlikely.
