lol can you argue with him ?? england have depth and their big money spending of overseas players is one reason ... another is their ridiculous rule where young kids have to live within 5 miles of the ground or something if they are to be purchased ... by the time they're old enough to bypass that rule they haven't had good development ...

I hope we meet Liverpool in the final, that would be amazing. If we beat them it would give us 50 years or so of bragging rights. On the otehr hand we could lose and maybe never be allowed to live it down.
Barcelona were technically better, but the same is said for Arsenal and they have a problem with scorind goals at times as well. Neat passing moves are pleasing to the eye, but so is a top corner goal from 25yards out, maybe more so.
As for England, Lippi was right. When the top division is made of 36% of home nationals, it can fuck with the continuity on the international stage. Capello has to make some hard decisions too, using a 4-5-1 may well be a system that is gonna take a while for the players to adapt to, particularly Rooney.

that would be great. i would say milan is the thriftiest of the big clubs, (along with arsenal, but i dont really consider them a massively big club with the likes of milan, man u, real, barca ect.) getting flamini on a free, plus this, if its true. could be setting up for next year nicely.
