^ Very 80s.
The most recent Radiohead album is a masterpiece, one of their best albums imo.
It is 80's :)
I don't know what to think of that Radiohead song, but the video is interesting. Also Thom York looks absolutely dead.
ZAMALI - NO LUCK TO RUN ( MICHIGAN 001 )
Fatback - Is This the Future? (Official Audio)
^ I'm surprised you think so. There are some meh tracks, and its definitely getting more praise than it deserves but yeah the songs I like I think are amazing.
I like that ^
Yeah it came up on the feed and I've kept listening to them since I posted it. They're kind of equally indie dream pop and 80s soul, which is a great combo.
That you and i is great - if theres an instrumental, i want to put some Snoop/Nate Dogg vocals on it.
That guy makes pretty funky beats. But when I listen to more than 3 in a row it gets stale.
Here's a classic from the MTV era
Hard to say if it's comedy music, pure cringe or just a catchy tune.
i really have no idea what to listen to nowadays.
that tennis song is pretty cool, not all their shit is like that though.
found these guys on bandcamp, seems like its right up this same alley
one thing im having a very hard time wrapping my head around is how these artists/bands are getting away with 30 minute releases and it is labeled as an album?
like wtf
Tennis have some cool tunes, a lot of them are more indie and less poppy than 'runner' but I guess the new album with 'runner' on it will have more in that direction.
The track you posted is cool, can't put me finger in the vibes its giving me - definitely something 80s anyway.
^^
Fuck
I liked the Tennis track and the You & I track.
Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings "Searching for a New Day" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
^^
track is pretty ill, like it better than We Appreciate Power. that upcoming album should be interesting, i have a feeling it'll be hit and miss for me.
this is the style i like most from her
interesting i found a link. gonna give it a spin. fucking. three months early though? damn.
i remember her saying this is her last album with her record label. i wonder what she'll do next.
Fantastic

That new Grimes shit is lukewarm bile.

^^best song on the original album, which was a smash with the critics but is a bit too melancholy and self indulgent with me
I was just listening to the one below, I only found out yesterday Jeff Goldblum dabbles in jazz
So much great music in this thread.
Check this out...
L.J. Reynolds - Travelin'
Let it ride until the 1:10 mark and things begin to get extra Funky at that point.
