That's the thing, Fergie makes mistakes and has made some poor signings (Jordi Kruyff, Djemba-Djemba, Kleberson, Bellion...) but he at least admits he's made a mistake and gets rid of them even if it means taking a loss financially.
Wenger has a brilliant array of kids at his disposal but does need to make some more experienced signings to back them up. He should never have let his row with Gilberto go so far as they missed his experience and wise head this season, not to mention the 10 or so goals he would have got them.
Problem with English players, they're so expensive.
After the last world cup Cannavaro and Curtis Davies were availiable for the same price.

I agree that Bent went for a ridiculous amount, but Wenger sold Henry at the perfect moment. He got around £17million for a 30 year old who has only managed to score in about a third of his games for Barca this season. And Arsenal are a far more flexible team without him. Forget Bent, and compare that with what Liverpool got from the Torres deal.

granted the one i posted was indoor but it had perfect form of the kick, the degree of difficulty was very high, the height he got on that jump and the angle of the goal. spectacular. its not in a real outdoor game so i dont think it can really be said as the best goal ever, but it really is an amazing goal.
