where is it ?
i loved the album the first 100 times or so i listened to it then a few things started annoying me. I think there are songs on the album which are amazing "Shaky dogs, Kilos, Jellyfish, Be Easy" but the album aint got a nice flowing pattern if you ask me. Also I think the beats get monotonous but I aint really a huge fan of Metal Fingaz so that could be the reason
Ghost set such a high standard, in my eyes, he'll never touch it again. Ironman and Supreme Clientele, then Wallets. He was on a level back then he'll never get to again. I know some people will hate me for saying that, but that's just my taste. Fishscale is nothing compared to those and even on it's own isn't as good as I was hoping.
just looking over this thread again, reminds how overrated the album was and how dissapointed i was to hear the "dope" "back like that"
album was a banga none the less
bar one or two songs i think it's fucking great.
yet another review for anyone who's interested: http://www.scenepointblank.com/reviews/805
i just cant get this to grow on me
i just skip thru.....still think its a great album but i dunno....it broke my Ghostface tradition (cuz all his albums grow on me lol)
I Dunno I still like the album, still bumping it. Favorite tracks after having the album for a while. Like Tuco said, it didn't really grow on me like Pretty Toney did but I liked it from the beginning so *shrug*.
R.A.G.U.
Crackspot
Kilo
Barbershop
The Champ
Jellyfish
Dogs of War (Sun God is ill)
Great Album
Favorite tracks- Shakey Dog, Kilos, Champ, Ragu, Crack Spot, Big Girl
Its an average album at best. Theres songs on here I end up skipping. Dont get me wrong there were a couple joints on here that were dope...like "ragu" and "underwater" to name a few. All of the dope songs were a mere 2 min. This album just didnt grow on me.....which I didnt expect anyway. I feel his joint with MF Doom "swift and changeable" will be a better album.
people still hating on this album need to step back, not listen to it for a year or 2, then when you hear it again hopefully you realize its a classic
LOL...calling this album a classic is going waaayyy too overboard.
