Rza produced the son lion pit according to tidal, so we can now debunk it was a math production on that song.
Album is ok. But nothing I bought or will buy. It does have some highlights but the lows and mid songs are to many for me. Also I cant get over that they used so many recycled rhymes on this release.
I really do hop that the Rza and U god lp is not canceled. That for me has mostly been the only weak spot for the clan. To many projects getting anounced but very few of those projects actully have a release.
Still would like to hear some focused rza produced solo albums with the clan members. Even though its probably just a wish in my head nowdays.
Disappointed Dolemite has the same early fade during Masta Killa’s verse, so infuriating and stupid. Had hoped it was a specific LP rip mistake or some shit. This project is a big L.
Following up to my previous comment in this thread about this album and most wu releases from mid 2000’s - present……
Every once in a great great while we’ll be blessed with a joint that has that quintessential Wu sound/vibe. IMO the track ‘Roar of the Lion’ is just that. I felt the same way when I first heard Presidential MC, State of Grace among a few others.
The beats need to use samples. If they're played by wack musicians or VSTs they're never gonna sound dope. The re-make of Mighty Healthy is just terrible to listen

I feel he just put it out cause there final tour and people were talking about wu tang if these were just left over tracks from the saga continues he should have just added them to make the album longer
