Puertorican-Belgian artist who lives in my hometown. this was a hit in 2006
heard this in a YT commercial just now
totally forgot this song existed haha.
scary lyrics, scary face, scary hair, scary attitude
I dance to this in my safe space
listening to a double disc set comp I bought two years ago and only played like twice before. But today I can't get enough of it lol. I think his voice took some getting used to maybe. Great songs.

watched the 2008 docu on ARTE yesterday. the South American part of the tour looked crazy intense. especially in Colombia, where the police and army did not seem to understand the concept of 'going to see a metal concert'
saw the concert live on tv last night too. Klaus Meine's voice's needed some warming up but after the second song he sounded better. he sounded especially good on the choruses. verses, not always so much. he looks pretty frail on stage these days, I was kind of taken aback. he's getting old. the instrumentation was great. drummer Mikkey Dee (formerly of Motörhead) was especially energetic and had a great drum solo bit. the songs from the new album "Rock Believer" sounded good, as far as Scorpions go it must be a solid album
a friend just brought this to my attention, twenty minutes of concert footage of early Pink Floyd on a Belgian tv show in 1968. it looks like very few people have had a chance to watch this. about to dip in now
setlist
00:00 - Astronomy Domine 04:08 - The Scarecrow 06:11 - Corporal Clegg 09:08 - Painbox 12:51 - Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun 17:55 - See Emily Play 20:42 - Bike
David Coverdale does his best Robert Plant impression
I am really in to this right now:
I guess this is folk mixed with psychedelic/rock, usually not listening to much folk but this is on repeat right now
A shitload of Blue Oyster Cult, early Chicago, Lou Gramm's non Foreigner projects, early 38 Special, Toto (yes fuckin' Toto lol) and Tony Martin era Black Sabbath.
I liked this new song.
I've been listening to binaural beats lately for relaxation. It's actually been helping my anxiety during the work day
