I thought Domenech had made Vieira captain? Though I guess it's Zidane's final games as a pro
if zidane's in the team the man is the captain. i dont think the manager has any other choice because its zidane.
chelsea also want roberto carlos. is this a new real madrid in the making??? too many world class stars in one team is too much, would it have a bad effect on one team. look at real madrid they were going well with just zidane, raul, and figo. but with beckham ronaldo robihno and julio baptista they went over the top. reason why they nowhere near barcalona. who only got 2 world class players.
they were going just fine with zidane raul figo years ago when they were in their prime. you cant say if they only had those guys now they would be better off.
they aint doing pretty good now are they. it would have been better to replace them , not trying to play all in the same team. then it doenst work.
2nd in the Liga is a failure for Madrid. it wouldn't be so for many teams. Milan didn't win anything this year. is it a failure ?
not as much but still yes. having a chance at winning the serie A on the last day, and getting to the semis of the CL is a lot better than Madrids exit in the round of 16 of the CL and not even having a chance to win the leauge. but in the end winning nothing is still winning nothing.
And juventas had to cheat to win the leuge. That shit aint correct man

Not sure Carlitos would succeed in Chelsea.
Without Gallas, our defence has a big hole in it. Maybe you think im over-reacting but im not. Gallas is one of the best defenders in the world, hes so underrated. I hope he stays, hes a key part of the squad and i would imagine it would cost alot to sign him.Quote:

You must ask yourself, is it Chelsea ruining the league or the other teams just not performing as well as they should? Since when do Arsenal lose 11 games in a season?
every team has to rebuild now and then. its just arsenals turn. the problem with the new chelsea is, with the current owner, they will never have to worry about that. they can consistantly replace old/hurt/underachieving players with the best that money can buy. other teams just dont have that luxury.
and i agree with you, i think gallas is a very good player, hence my want for him to move to milan. but youll have roberto carlos to replace him so no worries...8O
Fuck Carlos, I would take Gallas over pretty much any defender in the world, hes really that good!
Gotta disagree there, Barca have more than 2 world class players. Puyol, Xavi, Deco, Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Messi... these players could pretty much walk into any team in the world.Quote:
