As far as I remember...I think Pro The Leader said that these tracks were both recorded on cassettes...And were never mixed and mastered as well...That's why they have such bad quality...Plus if I'm not mistaken...These were actually for his solo album which displayed this style through out the whole album and I think it is from around 98 or 99...And was produced entirely by the RZA...Supposedly it's done...Holocaust want's to put it out...But RZA has the rights to it...And he is just sitting on it...letting it get dusty...It's BS how RZA releases some of these Killa Beez who are just down right whack in my opinion they might have some good songs here and there but still...RZA never helps this jewel Holo to push that material...In fact the only Killa Beez I like are Holocaust...Killa Sin...Timbo King...Doc Doom (R.I.P.)...And 60 Sec...All the rest I just don't dig...Too many carbon copies and not enough originality...Sorry.
^^^can anyone confirm this?
that's fucking ridiculous, i would kill to hear holocaust in his original style over rza and elements
Yeah it's true, he mentioned it in that interview on youtube.
Said he's made tracks with every Clansman as well.
Really does make you wonder what is up with RZA...
That has to be some of the illest material he owns surely.
Can't someone mention this to RZA on twitter or something?
someone bomb the god's twitter account (rza)
im not up on that shit
i've always been down to petition this to rza, maybe if he sees that there is enough interest ($$$) in this, maybe his greedy ass will release it one day
just curious how much the BSBD Holocaust album sold
can't find any numbers
As of November 6, 2008 the album has moved 4,185 units. Taken from Wikipedia.
Damn this site has been bizy in the last couple days. Thanks for the uploads on that BSBD and magic thanks for that track. Best thread ever
Yeah thanks Magic good looking out.
These tracks are most likely from the Black Knights eastcoast album, that yes, was recorded some time around 98-99. All Wu-Elements produced, Monk in a Chambermusik interview said he would like to get it released but that never materialized. ANd Holocaust did record some tracks for a solo album that may or may not have ever been completed. One title for the album that was floating around in 2000-2001 was Escapism. Blunts Martinis girls and gunz is a possible track from that album.
