^^^have you read 'dark knight strikes again'? it's a grower, not really anything like dark knight returns but it's completely insane and worth a look.
i hate to be a broken record, but scalped is the best thing going. red crow is one of the best characters i've ever read, what's great about this book is that every character is well developed and sympathetic even if they are utter scum lol
i started reading unknown soldier vol. 1---this is a winner too. vertigo owns...i'm thinking about checking out northlanders...has anyone read it? i was going to buy DMZ, but i leafed through it and....almost every time a white writer writes 'hood' characters, the dialogue is so ridiculously forced and artificial it gives me a headache and it kills the story for me; same problem i had trying to read my cousin's 100 bullets trades.
oh and bendis is doing 'avengers prime'--5 issue miniseries with cap,iron man, and thor fighting asgardian monsters with alan davis on the pencils. damn you bendis for taking my money lol.

thanks for that advice.I Was already thinkin of coping that. but i heard its about dick (Robin) grayson(i know i might have spelled it wrong). so i went and got the alll star batman and robin. tosee how there relationship went sour. after this is batman year one-and batman strikes again. besides that i usually just fuck wit x-men x-force and daredevil.

dark knight strikes again has nothing to do with dick grayson lol...well except for a little twist that i won't spoil for you...but it follows old man bruce along with superman, flash, ray palmer, wondy, etc....i liked it, but most people hate it lol
year one is a classic though, and although they are not by miller, i recommend robin year one and batgirl year one as well, the artwork is gorgeous on both of those.

blackest night #8...nice. reis is brilliant. but fuck them for the ending with the white lantern though lol and a 'brightest day' checklist. give it a fucking rest already.
the new spidey was like reading a comic from 1985 lol. too much text telling us unnecessary shit, and i doubt anyone buying spidey in 2010 doesn't at least vaguely know his origin. good art though, but a definite step down from the level the book has been on for about 10 issues now (well the morbius one was kind of lame to i suppose)
is second coming worth the scratch? i didn't buy it, i'm sitting out x-men stuff until this story's over (except x-force, my ocd compels me to get the rest of the run lol)

second coming is worth the scratch for the sake of Finch's art..IMO..and regarding spidey, i thought it was excellent..i really liked it..sure its not as good as the ones with kelly or slot but i still enjoyed it.

the x-books just need to be rebooted. somebody let summers know he can bring back mutants by cutting a deal with mephisto, and maybe bring jean back and take the books back to the mid 80s lol
can we see some new villains goddammit? put mike carey in charge, his run with bachalo and ramos was one of the few post-morrison periods that wasn't lame as fuck imo
