Let me make one thing clear. When the refs screw up, they should be called out by as many people as possible. It is not "whining" or "crying" to call out officials for being horrible at their job. It's a different thing to say the officials won the game for the Steelers (this time) The Steelers probably would have won the game regardless, and It's not fair to hold it against them. This was no Seahawks/Steelers type of situation. The Steelers won, and desrvingly so, but can we stop with this name calling, and "whining" accusations agaist those who take offense to bad officiating? These officials need to be held accountable for the horrible job they did all year.

I know you had that game with the Ravens and this is probably spillin over from how your season ended but that happened to YOUR team. There wasn't a single Cardinals fan on these boards three-four weeks ago. its the emotion behindsome of these post I don't get.

FAR TOO MANY ............OR........far too many that happened to your team? There's shitty calls made every year. At the end of the day refs are human and because of that no game is gonna be called perfect.


Really, I thought they we calling the games tight but outright fuck-ups? I think they got most of the calls right. One of the roughing the passer calls was ticky-tack but all the challenges where called the way, to me atleast., they should've been.

It ain't all on the refs though. Players were holding onto face mask, players were beating the shit outta another after the whistle blew, guys where rapping up and tackling on the lines and the refs are supposed to call those things. So in the end, if they don't fuck up you wouldn't have seen most those flags. So who's fault is it really? the refs or the players?

Are you seriously saying the officiating wasn't especially bad this year? Many games were decided by bad calls. My team actually got off pretty easy this year. We werent screwed nearly as many times as some other teams were. There are many NFL officials that need to be fired right now. You really are way off with the "your team" thing. Like I said, the Titans only got the shaft via the refs a couple times this year. Many teams were just killed ny the officials. The Chargers come to mind.

as for the rest of the year? yeah there where some bad calls made. I think that happens every year. You can think of a couple, that's cool but what is the percentage to all the plays those refs got right? Ed Hochculi has been calling games for years does that one fuck up discredit everything he's been doing for the last 10-15 years as a ref? At the end of the day they're still human and humans fuck up. The good teams rise above that shit and triumph in the face of adversity.

3.holding during the int return
4.the roughing the qb penalty on the cardinals
5.running into the holder penalty-and this was the third 15yrd penalty on the drive

listen i'm not a cardinals fan but as a football fan it get's to point where you have to say what the fuck is going on and for some of you not to be able to see this for yourelf's makes me really question the knowledge of football on this forum.I'm sure most of you have to watch espn to tell if there were any penalties or not but real football fans know what's up.so now that i've broken down SOME of the penalties what are you going to say now.

to who ever said oh even with all those penalties they should of still found a way to win that's bullshit any team in the nfl with that many yards in penalties is going to have a very hard time trying to win any game let alone the superbowl.i guarantee if the steelers had that many yards in penalties they would have lost by 10

That's real shit right there, I didn't even think of this till someone on FOX Radio said it the next day. And they are right. If I'm a Cardinals fan today, I'm still pissed about something like that. The refs did get ticky-tack on some calls but if a team is really gonna win a ball game you gotta rise above all obstacles even if that means the refs. The Cardinals were still in a position to win it all at the end of the game. The only controversial decision was the no-call for the replay at the end. Other than that, the refs didn't get involved in the moments that mattered most. Either the Cards where gonna get a stop on D or they weren't. Great game that could've gone either way. Instead of complaining (no1 in particular portis) why don't people reflect on that?

The Cardinals haven't exactly given the fans much to be excited about over the years. So I can see why some of the fans weren't that enthusiased. Though with a solid season and playoff run, this should spark some enthusiasm that has been dormant for a while. If most of the players come back to the Cardinals next season, they should be solid, having the best QB and WR in the NFL again.

the one arguement i won't respect is you cunts are pissed about a celebration penalty not being called. if the only way your team can win is if the opponent is penalized for celebrating the greatest touchdown catch in super bowl history, then you don't deserve to even be on the field. also, i think santonio's sock might have been untucked a little bit. you might as well take the touchdown away from him for the uniform violation. if you cunts are gonna cry about a celebration penalty, atleast admit that kurt warner took his helmet off on the field and didn't get an unsportsmanlike penalty for that. you guys are too quick to mention anything that may have went the steeler's way, but forget when jesus warner commits a penalty and is not called for it.

The Steelers deserved to win the game. Complain about the officiating all you want. It was horrible. In this case, however, I'm not sure it affected the outcome, but that doesn't change the fact that Roger Goodell should come down like a cruise missle on these pathetic refs over a amazingly bad season of work. Then again, Roger Goodell is about as crooked as they come himself, so..........

Congrats to the Steelers, they should have won the game by a lot more.

It is my opinion that the Spygate evidence was destroyed to avoid the fans, and media from ever learning the true extent of the Patriots cheating. He has also fined players for accidental helmet to helmet hits, and left obviously dirty plays unpunished multiple times. The guy's a real idiot if you ask me. Just my opinion. Tagliabue was a god compared to Goodell.

You just need to recognize that the Steeler were a better team than the Titans. Its not about me being a Steelers fan, cuz I'm not, i hate them more than anyone on here time 100, its that you need to realize that they were the best team in the league this year.
