Being that historically humans frequently change and reinvent their culture and society, you should expect to be uncomfortable and out of the loop about certain things. Especially in the information age. Its also a mistake to pin the things you don't like in the world solely on certain groups, its an oversimplification and giving yourself way too much credit for understanding something incredibly complex just because you read a few blogs and articles that seem to make sense to you.

Prices seem to be up 20% everywhere and a lot of foreign goods are gone or overpriced but I also didn't realize how diversified the economy in Russia was because they have a lot of local alternatives.
Someone also said the US is buying more Russian oil but that makes sense cause it's not a command economy and those who were already buying are probably stockpiling cheap oil and gas before the gate gets closed. I also got this last tid bit from a Chinese government puppet account so who knows. I think we're post-information honestly.

Something interesting that's brewing here is the escalating tensions between India and China have been stiff for a few years. India claims they have the intelligence that China are preparing for some sort of offensive they won't spare anyone if attacked.
