i just wanted to say i completely agree with the jim lee comments. i always thought he was the most talented artist out of the guys who went to image. his wolverine is easily one of the best i've ever seen. and his batman. the only character i really dislike his version of is the joker. he looks like an elfish imp. but thats a minor complaint. hes really one of the best.
even though i would really like to see mcfarlane return to do spidey. in a graphic novel or 1-shot or something. he really dont even draw anymore.
another really good and gritty batman story is the cult. deacon blackfire drugs batman with hallucinogenic drugs and makes him believe hes a demi-god of sorts. good stuff.
a lot of new number 1s coming out in the next 2 months. might be giving some new stuff a try.
^^^the cult is raw! is that still in print? i had it but traded back in 9th grade for crisis on infinite earths lol i second that recommendation.
i'm looking forward to Shield #1 tomorrow, and i'm going to check out Iron Man: Legacy as well. is Flash #1 this week or next week? might also check out Green Arrow when that relaunches.
yeah, that sheild book looks great. thats the first art ive seen in a while that really make me say DAMN. really detailed stuff from the looks of it.
i might give birds of prey a shot. i heard nothing but good things about the old run.
^^^it was really good, especially when simone was writing it; i don't know how i feel about hawk and dove being on the new team, but it'll probably work out fine.
and ya shield looks amazing, is it a miniseries or regular series? because i keep seeing different things.

gonna have to check out that luke cage mini though. i know it will probably be the run of the mill avenger mini, but cage is one of my favs. especially watching bendis evolve the character so much in the last 10 years.

was the rebirth miniseries any good in the end? i have them but haven't read past 2 or 3 lol it just seemed more of a deck clearing continuity reconcliliation exercise than a story, but i've been wrong before lol
