i'm leafing through them right now as i decide whether to try to start reading this when my gf gets off from work at 10:00 and will probably come over here by 10:30...van sciver's art is weird to me...it's obviously good, and some of the detail and linework is great... but everyone looks too muscular imo, especially for a book about a guy who runs lol..and his page layouts are occasionally ugly.i'm glad he's not drawing the regular series.

great issue as usual....the scene with talia before the deathstroke reveal ruined the suspense there...but hurt's so badass and obviously he's responsible for setting up all these weird things in wayne manor when he briefly had control of it during RIP...unless i'm wrong lol. Can't wait to see what grayson found...
SHIELD was awesome...that's how you do a #1 lol (except for imhotep being a white dude lol)
spider-man fever's art was amazing but the story is ridiculously stupid...but i'm guessing that's the point, i found the whole thing funny more than anything

apocalypse and khonshu were there with imhotep...the galactus/galileo scene is like a litmus test to see if you're a continuity nerd/overreactive comic fan...i witnessed a gaggle of 30-40 year olds having fits about that panel, where i had to point out....you don't know what exactly happened there, just that galileo observed galactus...doesn't contradict the fantastic four stuff at all, and if it does...fuck it.
