I thought Larry Johnson has been wanting to leave the Chiefs for a while? Plus they don't want him, he's a douche bag.
true but its not up to him he is under contract....
Cassel should do well there, but they still need a defense. Vrabel is not the answer. The guy has to be almost 40.
Still, good move to get Cassel...damn only a 2nd rounder?
yeah of course i heard of larry johnson, and he's whack. maybe he'll change his tune now that it's fresh over there, but i doubt it.
crabtree would be nice for KC too. him and bowe could light some shit up.
yeah i heard that other shit too. 50 million under the cap!!!!! fucking ridiculous, but who's still out there, free agent wise that they might go after? and isn't there another period of free agency in june? i forget.
they talkin bout julius peppers on the radio, but that would require our 3rd overall pick... There is also some linemen out there...
but LJ is far from wack, he never got the ball last year cause our 2 starting qbs got hurt making us use that garbage spread offense to suit thigpen... he doesnt fit in that offense and only got like 6 carries per game towards the end of the year... I got a feeling he will change his tune now that we are actually looking to compete...
i aint been this hype for the chiefs in a minute...
yeah because you know so much about football lol and smh at dallas trading for jon kitna jj needs to hang it up
Romo is overrated, like I been saying for two years now.
The FedSkins still need a QB.
we got 2 and now we'll have an o-line to protect him
one and a half
campbell is so shy, you don't even hardly know he's there.
Snyder thinks you can BUY a team. You can buy players but you can't buy a TEAM. everyone has to bond as a unit, play as a team. BIg money FA's are no guarentee of that (and never have been) Remember Bruce Smith and Deion Sanders being on the same squad? It didn't amount to shit for the Redskins.
I like the Texans signing Smith from the Cardinals. It frees up what we can do with the draft. Our defense is going to take a serious jump in 09.
yeah, remember the year when the redskins signed bruce smith, deion sanders, mark carrier and jeff george and everyone talked about them going to the super bowl. they were poop sandwich that year.
the steelers just won the super bowl with only one big-name free agent signing - james farrior. and they signed him 7 years ago. free agency is overrated. you have to build your team from the draft then plug in the holes with decent free agents. going overboard with $100M signings only gets you into salary cap trouble down the road.
damn it visions unseen. you beat me to my point. i type too damn slow
arthur shitsburg is right.
The fedskins will probably tank again this year like they always do.
dan snyder grew up a redskins fan, not many owners can say that they rooted for the team they own as a kid.
the front office has made a shitload of poor decisions, mostly regarding free agency raids, trading draft picks and ignoring building through the draft, but you all aren't fans of washington, so you don't understand that unless skins fans jump ship, they have to accept what goes down and be excited and optimistic about shit like this, because it's the only thing to do.
any fan who stops being a fan of his team because of poor front office moves, or even poor play on the field is a gaylord and can't pretend to be a fan if/when things ever start going right for their team again.
i know that's captain obvious talk to real fans, but there are fair weather faggots galore, especially in washington, md, va. the team doesn't play up to expectations and suddenly, motherfuckers are ravens fans, or panther fans, or steeler fans, etc.
fuck em, i like snyder in a way, he wants to win. i don't like the way he thinks he's going to do it, but oh well, nothing i can do, but root for the team.

you're right, i don't know what it's like to have an owner who was a fan of the team while growing up. because the steelers have been owned by the same family since they started in 1933
i wrote NOT MANY OWNERS
nothing like having something like that passed down to you, growing up knowing that one day you'd be the owner. that's hard work.
LOL@ whoever voted this thread down to a 4 star thread. it must have been one of those soccer fags like whitey
they are very jealous
I don't know if Kitna would like being the backup. I think he should compete for the starting job at Dallas.
redskins cut jason taylor
I'm Not Gonna Lie I Wont Like Having To See The Giants Battle Haynsworth 2 Times A Year But The Contract They Gave Him I Can See If They Thought They Were 1 Piece Away But There Not.
Meanwhile The Giants Go About There Business Signing And Filling Holes Quietly. Canty And Rock Benard To Regain The Depth At D-Line Were The Giants Broke Down A Little Bit Last Year. Also Picking Up Boley Who Has A Lot Of Talent And Could Put It Altogther For The Giants It Will Be Nice.
The Patriots Showed The World Depth Is The Key They Lose A Guy They Plug Someone Right In To Fill The Role. Go About Free Agency Usually Quietly And Lose "Big Name Players" And Still Stay Extremly Competitive I'm Glad The Giants Learned A Long The Way But Then You Still Have Teams Like The Redskins And Cowboys Who Wont Learn.
congratulations to the tennessee titans for finally getting that super bowl ring. they just signed nate washington and he will be taking his super bowl 43 ring with him.
ahh i can breath a lil more easy..ravens got ray..until he retires
I'm so sick of hearing about Peppers being a Panthers fan. We need to get his situation handled and get some draft picks for his unhappy ass
I hope the vikings sign holt
What team is Issac Bruce on?
