Congrats to Turkey for the last breath battle. I really liked the match. It's probably the best one on the tournament.

But Turkey did get out pretty slick...

2:1 against Switzerland in the 90th minute

3:2 against Czech Republic after a 2:0 deficit and 20 minutes till the end

Don't see how they will get past Croatia,who've been playing well so far, but it will be a close clash. Either way, good job for Turkey, whom some people predicted to be the weakest team on the tournament.

Croatia will come in very physical. That's for sure. But I think they're capable of advancing.

Imagine Croatia winning the cup. Croatia's like 2 hours by car away from my country. I maybe roll there to see the celebration.

i dnt the Austrians can beat the Germans. Podolski is injured, dnt kno if he will make the game.

The Austrians just dnt have a goalscorer on their team. they should have taken a point off the Croats, and have beaten Poland. They just dnt have a striker on their team.

Germany need more movement from their own strikers. Against Croatia Klose and Gomez were very static. No movement at all, they just waited for the ball to come to them. If they can sort that out, then Germany will easily get past Austria.

I thought Gomez especially was really poor.

Yeah he seemed to be getting things back on track for Chelsea, but he's had a shit tournament. I have faith he'll come good in the end though. It has to hurt your bottle when you get your skull fractured. I can't help but feel that as long as he has his rugby hat on, he hasn't got his balls back.

well the Germans are through. Austria played well the first half but just didnt really create anything. Lehmann didnt make a save at all. Strong strike from Ballack to win them the game.

but Mario Gomez, how on earth do you miss that. i mean you miss the first chance, your a big player go and head the ball in. he jus gets pushed over. the German strikers have been really shit so far.
