Most Wu purists I know, including me and alot of online and media personalities who are known Wu/Ghost fans (like Charlamagne), are digging this album. Some were offput by the SC2 name but once they got over that they sat down and realized how fucking dope this album is. How can you be a fan of Ghost and not like songs like Georgy Porgy, Zoom, Candyland, The Trial, the 4th Disciple track...? Some of his best tracks he's put out in the last 15 years! I love this album btw. Im listening to it now, and I think this is my 17th time having it play through.

That was a great time to be a Wu fan and I hoped the next Wu record (The W) would bang like that too. Sadly it turned out to be a disappointment (compared to SC), but it grew on me with the years though.

This album clearly lacks RZA's involvement, his judgement, his vision. Part I woudn't be what it is if it wasn't for RZ. Ghost surrounded himself with yes-man, who don't dare to criticise his choices and that's the "album" we got.
