I see your point, people do not follow the topic. I do not know if I mislead them or if they, by themselves, were mislead.Quote:

This is whether you believe in a Being that you call GOD. A literal 'being', not a human conscience, not a collective human idea that created "God", and if GOD is metaphyisical in you opinion.
When I say The Original Asiatic Blackman is God, I am not referring to the continent known today as Asia.Quote:

And, being that Mt. Kilimanjaro is in south-east Africa, which is really a part of 'Asia' (Africa was artificially seperated from asia by the man made Suez canal via Napoleon Bonaparte)....I really don't see any contradictions with what Blackwisdom said.
^ so would it make more sense saying
The Pangiatic blackman.....
Pangea is some kind of European term for the land masses of the Earth???
Who cares?
Asiatic is more exact.
Asia is still the biggest continent on the planet, and it would make more sense to acknowledge the origination of the continents as being from the east (Asia).

The word Asia always seemed to be semetic to me....I looked it up and found that the etymology is not conclusive as far as the encyclopideias are concerned.Quote:

If you have found anything different please share.
I do believe there is a god or someone who made everything or rules everything or created everything. Who the f*** that is knows noone so they call that GOD. And you have nature wich is also very powerfull and it can be dangerous.
I read/have read the bibble and the Quran, and I don't want to have anything to do with jews because they're a little bit too weird for me.

The word Asia is indeed said to have it's roots in the Akkadian, but the original word did not, from what I'v read, designate any specific geographical location.
Yea...it's interesting.
I have read that it has different meanings also.
And, that's how I see it....as having more then one meaning.
Like in a symbolic sense, maybe.
^Aqua Luna are you seriously in lebanon?
Bump.
I understand and agree with all of the comments made in reply to my post. What's the difference in a word anyway... don't answer that.

I was born CoE and was made to be religious when I was growing up. Ever since I've been able to think for myself I've become an Atheist, I don't see any truths in the bible and that most of the stories are adaptions from other holy texts just twisted to make certain people look evil. I don't like the idea of when I die I will be judged by the Reaper and sent to either Heaven or Hell. A load of people I've tried explaining this to have come back with God being the all knowing all mighty blah and yet again if I don't believe in a invisible entity that can supposedly strike down his foes from above I will be sent to hell, I believe in me, myself and I, and I will make my own judgement upon my death bed. That's obviously just my opinion though
All religions are right, only one God in the Sky.
I was just agreeing to what they added.
In regards to God being invisible...
We see the leaves being blown by the breeze. We know that the wind is present and active even though we can't see it. The leaves bear witness to the wind. In my eyes we bear witness to the creator.
I hope all religious people go to hell. Fuck the lot of you.
lol why don't you tell us how you really feel! :lmao:
God created the Transformers.

not until you reject all false huggahs and accept me, humanface, as your one true lord and huggah. for it is only through my everlasting embrace that you may experience the kingdom of God.
oh and uh do this 9:|6 precisely 4 and one half times per day facing towards the polar north (not magnetic north, try that and see what happens).
...and you're a chick right? cuz huggah no homo
^ some under-educated priests then... the Bible tells us God is not, in fact, invisible. if God was invisible, then why was Moses' face shining with glory after speaking with God on the mount? God isn't a voice in people's heads.

it deals entirely with the western ideal of a God, little to no mention of muslim faiths, but still this book is the cornerstone of intelligent scientific atheism. i think many people posting on this thread will find atleast some answers and explanations to the problems and inaccuracies of religion as a whole.
all i really have to say is read up
richard dawkins is a bit of a wanker
I prefer Sam Harris.
trying to convince other people that there's no such thing as god is one of the stupidest things an intelligent person has ever tried to do. dawkins would be better off convincing my dog it's irrational to bark everytime a car goes past.
i just think he sensationalises everything, in an attempt to make atheism appealing or some shit.
i dunno, he criticise religious fanatics, but is a fanatic in his own right.
i agree in principle with most of what he says, but its not as if these are new ideas.
his articulation and methods are questionable.
just my 2 cents.
