Mayweather has grown on me...I don't want him to retire, but I would really like to see how he would do in a real battle with someone. i'd like to see him really challenge himself.
BTW...can't wait for that Kelly Pavlik/Jermaine Taylor rematch. I'm def. getting that one.

I would have loved to seen Frazier and Marciano go at it. That would have been an all out brawl.
Marciano is one unbelievable cat. 49 wins, 43 knockouts (correct me if I'm wrong), and 0 losses. He is what we white people mention when a black dude talks about Ali :D

^ Many would argue about where Tyson belongs. I actually have him in my top 5, just his matches were unbelievable to watch when he first came, matches would end within 5 rounds and they are crazy to watch the power and speed he had and also the way he picked his spots on his opponent. Anytime Tyson fought another great fighter, especially holyfield, he lost.
^ I kinda feel Holyfield (or Douglas) sparked his downfall, he was the type of dude who thought he would never lose and is to tough, but when someone proved him wrong, he started crackin out ya know. But he was still a great fighter, just watch his old matches, the animosity he brought to the ring was great and how he could intimidate the other fighter and get into their head, thats was great. I also think another reason he started falling off is when he started fighting taller, bigger fighters like Holyfield and Lewis, that may have gotten into his head also.
I just read Mayweather De la hoya 2 hopefully mayweather will engage Oscar this time instead of hide/pot shot this time.

The first time I watched the the 1st fight I was let down but the more I see it the more I realize how good of a fight it was Oscar penetrated Floyd's defense enough to get some real good shots in, and Mayweather did his usual run/defense no disrespect to Mayweather but I hope he gets knocked the f out

Although the Hopkins/Taylor outcome was controversal Jermaine did expose weaknesses in Hopkins style, and to comment on the above post (Jones would not last 2 rounds) Bernard is a known slow starter so I find that argument just dumb.

I watched the fight tonight. Jones won a one sided fight. Knocked him down twice in the fight, but never really hurt him. Trinidad did decent for not fighting in two years. But of course all of Jones friends at HBO (including his biggest dickrider Max Kellerman) tried to make it look like Jones is back at his top form. They actually think he has a shot at Calzaghe....in Wales. hahaha
Jones did far better than expected to me, he surpassed my expectations by far. I thought Tito would stand a chance with his punching=power, but Jones was just to fast and big for Tito.
